On August 9, 2022, the business entered into a Consent Order with the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry (DLI). The Consent Order settles allegations that the business began plumbing work in Minnesota before approval of the plumbing plan and failed to call for final inspection of the plumbing work, a violation of Minn. Stat. 326B.082, subd, 11 (b)(1) (2020) and Minn. Rule 1300.0215, subps. 1 and 6 (2021). Under terms of the Consent Order, the business agreed to ensure all plans for plumbing work are submitted to DLI for review and approval before the work begins and calls for final inspections of the plumbing work in a timely manner. The business agreed to a stay of the monetary penalty, on the condition that they fully comply with the terms of the Consent Order.
