On July 9, 2024, the business entered into a Consent Order with the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry (DLI). The Consent Order settles allegations that the business violated Minn. Stat. 326B.082, subd. 11 (b)(1)(8)(9) and 326B.33, subd. 12 (2022). Under terms of the Order, the business agreed to ensure that all individuals performing work on behalf of the business hold a Minnesota master or journeyworker electrician license or a registration as an unlicensed individual and is an owner, officer member or W-2 employee of the business; and to ensure that all registered unlicensed individuals are properly supervised by a licaned master or journeyworker electrician. The business will also pay $1,000.00 of a $7,500.00 fine, with the balance stayed on the condition that they fully comply with the terms of the Order and have no future violations of any laws, rules or orders under DLI authority.
