Renter BEWARE!DW JONES MANAGEMENT is the slumlord mafia of property management companies, and runs their business like a criminal enterprise. Staff is untrained, classless, unprofessional, nasty, irresponsible and absolutely incompetent to say the least.Good luck if you're unfortunate enough to have to interact with *** ********, *** ********, ***** ****, ****** *******, ***** *****, *****, etc. These unskilled workers would not be hired by ANY legitimate, reputable company that has integrity or lawful business practices.Units are FILTHY, contain mold, leaks, water stains, no insulation, are not energy efficient, have improper heating, appliances are not properly inspected and do not function correctly, windows and doors are broken and not energy efficient. DW Jones Management breaks every law in the book, and does not conduct business honestly ************* would be in your best interest to RECORD every interaction with them no matter how insignificant it may seem, every phone call, archive every email/text, keep copies of their constant ghetto notices and threats. Believe me, you will thank yourself later when they are in full retaliation mode, and attempting to evict you for no legitimate reason whatsoever. They are heavily invested in completely childish *****, unlawful practices, when it would be a lot easier for them to invest their time in efforts into simply fixing the issues, taking responsibility, and making things right. Unfortunately they are completely incapable of doing ******* would be in your best interest to file complaints with HUD, public housing authorities, and other fair housing law agencies. The only residents that will deal with their despicable and disgusting behaviors, are people that no one else will rent to, have criminal records, bad credit, bad or no rental history, drug addiction, smoke in their units that will seep right into yours, and have live in visitors that are not on the lease, and have not been properly screened.

My experience with D.W. Jones Management has been incredibly frustrating. I signed a lease for a unit at Eleven01 Apartments in June, set to begin on July 8th, but due to personal reasons, I had to break the lease two weeks before the move-in date. I promptly sent a letter along with a cashier's check, offering to pay two months' rent as required. They refused my offer and stated that I would need to continue paying until the unit was re-rented or until the lease expired in a ******* make matters worse, I was told on two separate occasions that my two-bedroom unit (312) had been listed as available. However, after repeatedly checking, I found that no two-bedroom units were ever posted for rent. This miscommunication, or outright dishonesty, left me feeling disrespected and misled. The way this situation has been handled is unacceptable, and I would strongly advise against renting from D.W. Jones Management if you're looking for transparency and fairness.

Tenants are required to sign a one year lease's to hold an apartment unit and if they break their lease they have to pay a $500.00 break lease fee and will be reasonable for the rent until we are able to re-rent the unit, we have been showing the unit and we hope to have the unit rented soon but we cannot guarantee that until it happens, this language is in the lease they signed.

Slumlords run this place. The day I was moving ithe caretaker told the apartment was know as crack alley. The ppl in the building did not have screens on the windows. I had to call several times and threaten to call the attorney general to get screens. Even with screens the window were so bad you had to use duck tape. I had windows that were screwed shut and did not lock. I was told we were getting new windows 4 months after I moved in. That happens 3 years later. Before a big inspection. The building is literally infested with Asian lady beetles. I complained to the caretaker immediately after moving in. They never once sprayed. When the windows were replaced I got pictures of millions of bugs infested in the walls. I called the landlord and demanded an exterminator. I was told there were not aware. LIAR! and there was nothing they could do. same caretaker Got a tenant a job there as a key holder. This girl literally walked around with a bottle of fireball. Almost died from seizures. Lost her kids. But she has access to your apartment. But it was a secret. I only found out by my Camara .When I would leave and come back it had become so obvious that someone had been in my apartment and things wouldn't go missing. The door to the building was constantly wedged open. The caretaker would pay one tenant to vacuum while she sat outside and drank alcohol with other tenants. ppl are allowed to live in the building that are not on the lease. They tell you to send a complaint but they give a 30 day slap on the hand and it's a never ending battle. One drunk woman threatened to beat up a 10 year old with autism. She got a 30 day violation. They constantly tell you there is no funding. I could literally write a book about this place. The caretakers tell people's business. they only care about how many units are filled for there funding. I literally challenge these ppl to a lie detector test. I can pass with flying colors! And I had to delete stuff for no room.

We would like to address the claims made by this tenant. Firstly, the caretaker did not refer to the apartment as a "crack alley," particularly given that her role involves maintaining the property, which directly impacts her overall job performance. Additionally, we conducted two phases of window replacements: the first in October 2023 and the second in March 2024, resulting in brand new windows throughout the entire complex.Upon being notified of Asian beetle issues this spring, we promptly engaged Ecolab to assess the property. While immediate removal of the beetles was not something they could accomplish, Ecolab advised us to await warmer weather, as this would naturally prompt the beetles to vacate the building. Subsequently, Ecolab will spray the premises this September to prevent any recurrence of the issue.Furthermore, all employees undergo rigorous ************************* background checks before being hired. In an effort to enhance tenant safety, we recently rekeyed the entire complex. Lastly, any tenant concerns at our property have been addressed in compliance with fair housing and rural development housing guidelines.

About 8 months ago, I was forced to pay a bill to DWJ that I believe I shouldn't have had to pay. I made an agreement with ********************* from the Grand ************* that I would pay an additional $20 a month on the debt. It was all I could afford. Today I received a receipt telling me that I owe even more. I just found out that DWJ increased my rent without notifying me of the increase, thus adding more to the debt. Best part of all that they claimed that there was never a ********************* working in the Grand *************.From what I can see, these people just change the rules when ever it suits them. This is supposed to be low income housing, and they are gouging the tenents for what ever they can get out of us.I see a lawsuit in the near future before they milk me dry.

Zero stars. I gave them my 60 day notice and now they are saying it wasn't good enough. Now they want me to maintain the apartment til February. Taking my money for other things. Charging everyone for supposedly new garage doors. Dented from the snow removal. Money hungry people.. Not worth 790$ for rent!

      D. W. Jones is ripping Native ********* off. They are prejudice and are violating our rights as tenants and our constitutional or civil rights. My right to privacy has been violated. They are slumlords who are getting rich off my people. They are over charging. Charging off their own mistakes and I have been getting harassed since I moved in here. I have been profiled, I have been harassed, threatened with eviction. I have been charged for my 1st set of lost keys ****** pluss 2 violations that aren't my fault about electric not being changed into my name which I did prior to moving in here. I can't help it if their so called landlord told me the wrong apartment number. That's on her but for 2 violations and Mt first set of keys I was told I owe ******. They are insinuating traffic which is my company. Visitors. I have had to call the cops for people being I. The halls smoking drugs. I have had numerous welfare checks from them I don't party I'm an elder and I'm tired of being harassed I received my 3rd certified letter from the post office. I have had to clean the hallways from time to time. Graffiti on walls. Broken /shattered glass door when I moved in. Every month there's some sort of accusation or threats. I'm seeking help from an attorney.

D.W. Jones Management does not rip off or discriminate against Native Americans; we did not charge $413.00 for lost keys or falsely change for electricity. They should contact our office at ************ if they have questions about the charges and violations.

I am finally moving out after having lived in these apartments for 6 years. The caretaker at our apartment has always treated my kindly and is the only bright spot in this dark madness. Thanks, ****. As far as the office, I have been treated like less than a person. ****** is pure evil, no regard to anyone besides herself. We once had a manager that was kind and easy to work with. Now we have ****, he is degrading and just rude. Every year the heat turns on and the hallway smells as if there are dead animals in the walls. I have reported it numerous times, to no response from office. There is mold in the hallway from it raining inside and the drywall falling off the ceiling each time. This also has been reported at least 3 times, no response from office. The washers smell of filth and mold. The dryers have never been cleaned either. There will be a fire sooner than later. We had a mouse infestation, due to the holes in the walls to the outside. I have stuck Brillo pads down the holes and reported it to them. Took a while, but finally the actually filled the rodent boxes outside. This was after threats to call HUD, mind you. When I moved from 2 to 3 beds, I killed 5 mice in the first 3 days. You could hear them in the walls and I was not the only one. I have had pipes burst in both apartments. Cant be good. They charged me thousands of dollars when my son was living away at college. Even though proof was provided. Just steer clear of ever being tortured by these unprofessional slumlords.

I've been here for almost 10 years, and recently within the past year I've been having problems with the resident manager as is everyone else who lives here. It seems as if dw Jones doesn't care about their tenants, and that were all supposed to put up with the abuse of the resident manager. Its getting really hard to even continue living here. Dw Jones doesnt do anything about the multiple complaints coming in weekly. Nothing is being done. I guess were supposed to just take the abuse, which nobody should! This management is so bad, and they just dont seem to care about the tenants at all, I guess having an abusive manager is more important than listening to the tenants.

Zero stars, so many issues here with management. They have no regard for the law as proven today. They sent notices out for inspections to be on the 21st. They showed up today and did most of the inspections that were scheduled and tenants were told to just deal with the wrong date as today is the 20th. Property Manager is constantly threatening people with violations for ***** stuff. There are multiple rented units with non working appliances. A neighbor went without heat this winter for almost a week. I could go on but the list is too long.
