      Over a year attempting to get some support/ new weather seals. I am the owner of some older Marvin french doors and sidelights. They appear to be well constructed and open, close and lock. Unfortunately the weather strips have deteriorated and become gummy. Water leaks into the four rooms where they are installed. Over a year ago I attempted to contact the company via phone and online contact form. I received no response other than an automated ***ly promising someone would contact me. Various attempts to get advise have been ignored since then but about a month ago I was able to speak to ******* in customer service. She helped me locate the serial number and promised I would be contacted by the overseas team. Two more weeks passed and I emailed again. I was promised Id be contacted by a different *** (the territory manager). Two more weeks passed with no contact. I have invested enough time trying to speak with these clowns. I will try to rig some kind of weather stripping arrangement and if that doesnt work I will be ***lacing the doors and windows which will cost somewhere in the region of $50,000. Needless to say the new doors and windows will not be from Marvin. I urge anyone who needs Windows and doors to consider the complete lack of service this company will provide after they have received your payment.

      Marvin windows are poorly constructed. After back and forth with the company about condensation problems with new windows, a visit by there so called tech, sending picture after picture, and videos of the problem , I was told my relative humidity levels in my home was too high. After the last go around of pictures and videos, I basically got a email back stating they arent going to do anything and the relative humidity levels should be around 25-30%. Resources from the ****************************, *****************************, *******************************, ********************, and others state that it should never be below 30%, and Marvin was telling me to bring the relative humidity levels in my home down to unhealthy levels and I have a 2.5 year old daughter. Pretty disgusting. I work for a company that builds multi million dollar custom homes and we install all the windows and doors. We keep the humidity levels in the homes we build around 45-50% relative humidity with absolutely no problem. All I can say is..DONT BUY MARVIN!!

      His review talks about condensation.  Condensation is visible evidence of excessive moisture in the air.  It may appear as water, frost, or ice on the room surface of windows and doors.  The warmer the air, the more water the air can hold, which means that the air in the center of any given room will hold more water than the air adjacent to the window or door walls, since this is always cooler.  This occurs more frequently during the winter months because of the extreme difference during the winter months, when the average outdoor temperature drops to 35 degrees or less.  It would be wise to maintain a 25-to-30-degree relative indoor humidity.  There are numerous documents that mention this 2530-degree relative indoor humidity, including documents from the BBB.  Ventilation is a very effective way to remove excessive moisture from the air.   We hope that he will review his humidity in his home to bring it to a lower level to reduce the condensation in his home.

      Awful, very frustrating experience. I paid tons of money, received absolutely defective windows, and the company doesnt deal with professionally. I am about to put a dispute on the deposit. I paid, it did cost me a lot of nerves and health was in last month..I need help and advice how to deal with all this situation, get rid of this ugly, defective windows, and deal with another company.I also got a strong suspicion, that replacement From Marvin company is using unauthorized labor in the installation activities

      Ordered doors and windows for a whole house remodel. Based project timelines around the dates Marvin provided. Marvin not only failed to meet delivery dates, they did not communicate changes in the schedule, and they did not appropriately follow up with damaged products. This has been a disaster and I regret going with Marvin.

      Thank you for the opportunity to research the concerns brought forth within this review and to respond regarding those.

      Marvin was first contacted by this customer on 09/04/2024 regarding a concern about her door not closing and locking properly. The customer service team worked quickly to schedule a technician to come to her home and resolve the issue. In addition,the customer service team offered to send her additional parts in the form of a spindle set and a thumb turn to temporarily resolve the issue until a technician was able to be onsite. The customer declined the offer of parts at that time. Our customer service team has attempted to reach the customer four times in the past week, since initially being contacted regarding this concern.Marvin would like to schedule this issue for resolve. As of today, we continue to wait for the customer to respond to us so that we can send a technician to fix the issue.

      We apologize for any issues that the customer is experiencing and continue to wait for the customer to contact us back regarding service so that we are able to resolve this matter.

      I thought Marvin window were of the highest quality and when it was time to install new patio doors i installed Marvin , from the beginning they were impossible to clean and when direct sunlight hit them it looked as if thousands of scratches were on the inside of the double panes .After cleaning a hundred times using different methods suggested by Marvin and other ****** tips Ive given up it is impossible to get rid of the streaking .They have been installed for 18 months, I paid $12,500.00 for 2 sets of double patio sliders and Marvin will do absolutely nothing blaming their glass manufacturer who says its normal , so seems like a passing of the problem ************ a matter of fact I was only told if the glass was replaced it would not solve the problem, are they serious ! So the only resolution is to replace the 18 month old doors at my expense really !! I entertain a lot in my courtyard for dinners , it happens that the sun is directly shining thru between 5:30 & 7:30 pm just as Im bringing my guest outdoor and the glass looks embarrassing, Im livid !Do yourself a favor and steer clear they do NOT stand behind their product and the warranty is worthless !

Marvin is truly sorry for the issues this customer appears to be experiencing. We have completed a full review of the customers file directly with the customer service representative who has first-hand knowledge of the concern.

      The customer indicates there are scratches visible certain times of day on the patio door windows; however, the customer is actually seeing some haze or streaks that are visible under certain conditions. This is a characteristic of glass, not a product defect, and it does not affect the performance of the glass.

      Reflections from coatings, strain-stress patterns, and visible haze are not defects. Instead they are inherent characteristics of glass. While they may be bothersome at times, especially under specific lighting conditions, they do not compromise quality of performance, and are not a defect. The appearance of such characteristics can be based on factors such as evening and artificial lights, daytime blue sky, direct sunlight and viewing angles.

      This particular product was purchased in November 2022 and we were contacted about a year later regarding the visual concern. The haze appears to only be visible for a small period of time on days when the light hits it a certain way. When we were contacted about the visual concern, we did offer to replace the panels and the customer declined our offer at that time. If the customer has now decided that he would like to go ahead with the panel replacement, he can contact the Dealer where he purchased the product to discuss that process.

      U way over paid for these doors and widows. The company is incompetent to install, they jacked up both of my patio doors because they installed the hinges wrong. Both do not open/close/ lock! They sent out a guy who had no idea how to fix the issue and then never ordered the hinges or contacted me as to what is going on. I want a full refund on both upper opening doors!

      Marvin Windows and Doors for *********** ** and surrounding areas is HORRIBLE with any customer issue or any issue whatsoever.We are a PROFESSIONAL company, not an individual consumer, and they have ignored our requests to replace warped windows for our client.*******************************, *********, and ******* have ignored and lied about any follow up or scheduling service.There is a reason they do not have a BBB membership. They would be rated a low F every single time.Buyer BEWARE. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY OR THEIR SALES PEOPLE>
