My brother has been hounded by these loan sharks for over 6 years, and despite forcefully taking ************************************************************************ knowledge, let alone consent, they tack on 500 in interest to offset the amount they had to credit toward to total debt to rake him over for more. Meanwhile, the number they want us to call to dispute, is just an automated phone tree in spanish that hangs up halfway through its prompt.Business response

He has called that number and it's just a phone tree in spanish that hangs up halfway through. This does not create a **** avenue of communication and should be raising even more red flags.Business response

I would like to file a harassment complaint as this company calls my phone everyday, multiple times a day without leaving a voicemail. I also have no idea why they are constantly harassing me as I have no outstanding debt owed. My personal credit score is 833. This is getting ridiculous - I am on vacation and trying to enjoy myself and call after call after call. Interrupting me at work with calls etc. Again no voicemail outlining the issue. I have emailed them and called to tell them to stop and not in a professional way because I can't take it anymore. Thank you for your assistance.Business response

The telephone number provided in the complaint, ***-***-2504 was provided to Arcon as a contact number for their consumer, and as such, Arcon did legally attempt to contact their consumer via that telephone number. ************** contacted Arcon on May 20, 2024, via telephone and e-mail stating we had reached the wrong person. Ms. ****** telephone number was immediately removed from the account file. ********************** has completed a thorough review of their records and can confirm this telephone number has been removed from their records and ************** will no longer receive telephone calls from Arcon at that number.Customer response

Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.I would like to add however that they claim someone gave them my information. I think I have a right to know "who" as I need to reach out to them directly to find out why a company would provide my information to a collection agency when I have no outstanding debt to be paid. I haven't been late with anything for over 25+ years. They should provide their "clients" name in their response. It's funny how quickly they removed my phone number rather quickly. If I owed a company money, why would they do that so quickly? Thanks for your help on this matter.

The call taker is most intimidating and matter of fact. Not easy to work with, offers no understanding with people trying to pay their debt. While I had a previous arrangement fall through, *** was most rude and matter of fact. As I try to pay off any debts I have, this is the worst company. All I would like is a payment plan other than the whole payment- we expect you to honor the payment. They have added greatly to the stress of trying to make right with debt.Business response

Arcon Credit Solutions LLC (Arcon) is in receipt of the complaint filed by *************************** (******************) on February 26, 2024, wherein he alleges that the agent was not easy to work with. Arcon has performed a full investigation into this complaint and provides the following explanation.
The agent at Arcon had a conversation with ****************** on December 26, 2023, and during that conversation, both parties agreed to settle Mr. ******** debt for less than the amount owed and set up payment for ******* 12, 2024. On ******* 4, 2024, ****************** contacted Arcon and asked to move his scheduled settlement payment to ******* 30, 2024, which Arcon agreed to do. On ******* 29, 2024, ****************** contacted Arcon and asked to move his scheduled settlement payment to February 15, 2024. The agent advised ****************** the settlement offer was only good for ******* and ***************** agreed. Later, on ******* 30, 2024, ****************** attempted to make the settlement payment, but the payment was unable to be processed due to insufficient funds. ****************** contacted Arcon on ******* 31, 2024, and asked to reschedule the settlement payment for February 28, 2024, at which time the Arcon agent informed ****************** the previous settlement offer was no longer available, and the total balance was owed in full. ****************** agreed and set up a payment for February 28, 2024. On February 26, 2024,****************** contacted Arcon and asked to move his scheduled payment to March. Arcon advised ****************** the payment was not able to be moved again. ****************** acknowledged this and stated the funds would be available.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: while the statements are true, the attitude and the demeanor of the call taker was most unprofessional. their website stated if you needed to change a payment to call 2 business days ahead. Arcon Credit Solutions LLC (Arcon) is in receipt of the complaint filed by ************************************ (********************) on September 6, 2023, wherein he states that he is not liable for the debt with Arcon because he does not have a contract with Arcon and that Arcon did not provide him with validation of the debt as he requested. Arcon has performed a full investigation into this complaint and is resolving this complaint with the following explanation.
Arcons client, ********************************************** LLC (Client), purchased Mr. ********* account from ******************* of *****,in February of 2019. Arcons Client placed Mr. ********* account with ********************** for collection on May 18, 2023. Arcon has not had any communication with or received any correspondence from ******************** until notification of this complaint. This is the only request for validation Arcon has received. After receiving this complaint, Arcon mailed ******************** the validation information,including the Bill of Sale transferring ownership from ******************* of ***** to Arcons Client.

Persons claiming to be with this company have been calling myself and my spouse repeatedly, not respecting requests to be taken off their list. Neither of us have debts that could be collected by them and my spouse's number is not associated with any debts/accounts whatsoever. They have robo-called from multiple numbers and been very rude on the phone. If they are spoofers, they are damaging the reputation of Arcon Credit Solutions. If they truly work for Arcon Credit Solutions LLC, then shame on the company. Two numbers they have used are ************* and *************Business response

Arcons Director of Compliance did contact ************ upon receipt of the complaint and was able to determine which telephone number(s)Arcon was dialing in an attempt to locate a consumer that Arcon has a business relationship with. Arcon Credit Solutions, LLC (Arcon) is in receipt of the complaint submitted by Mr. *********************** on July 11, 2022.
**************** account, the SoFi/Installment Loan originated by ***************** in December 2016 was purchased by Arcons client, ********************************************** LLC in August 2020 and placed for collection with Arcon on June 15, 2022. Between June 15, 2022 and July 11, 2022, a total of one letter, three text messages and six calls were placed in an attempt to reach **************** for resolution of the debt. All accounts are reviewed by Arcons client for collection eligibility prior to placement, and it was determined that this debt was indeed eligible for collection in alignment with Georgia laws. While Arcon does not furnish any information to the credit reporting agencies, Arcon confirmed with its client, ********************************************** LLC, that all information being reported is true and accurate.
In alignment with Arcons policies regarding any complaint, Arcons Director of Compliance has reviewed the collection attempts on **************** account. Arcons Director of Compliance has determined that Arcons collection attempts are within industry regulatory guidelines as well as internal policy.Initial Complaint

Arcon Credit Solutions was working through ************************************* to collect a debt from me. On top of harassing calls/mail, their customer service was incredibly rude, and they lied about an offer that had been accepted.I had an arrangement to settle the debt with the company they bought the debt for, and had a signed agreement to pay 40% of the debt. They would not accept the agreement. Their customer service representative (I will stop short of naming the lady) was incredibly rude and backhanded. Once an initial agreement was made, she completely changed her tone and treated me like dirt. When I called to cancel payments on the account (which I am fully in my rights to do) she was incredibly nosy and asked over a dozen times for me to explain why. I am declaring bankruptcy, and it is already a hard time for me but she showed no common sense to stop pestering me. When I finally explained that, she instantly began pressing for information and sounded angry.Business response

****************** called our client,Absolute ************************************* LLC, on September 7, 2021 inquiring about whichentity was servicing his account in an attempt to resolve the debt. The call was transferred to one of Arconsagents who was able to come to an agreement with ****************** to settle hisaccount. ****************** called Arcon onSeptember 8 2021 to request a copy of the arrangement, to which our agent compliedand provided a copy of the arrangement via e-mail. ****************** called Arcon on September 17 2021 and requested to have his arrangement and payments cancelled. In an attempt to provide the best solution toMr. *******, our agent inquired about the reason for cancellation and what theintentions were to resolve the account. ***************** indicated that he had retained an attorney regarding this account. In order to ensure Arcon handled the accountcorrectly, our agent asked for the attorney information and reason forretention and then proceeded to cancel the arrangement and the pendingpayments.
In alignment with our policiesregarding any complaint, Arcons Director of Compliance has reviewed recordingsof all the calls with ******************. Arcons Director of Compliance hasdetermined that Arcons agent politely and professionally asked the necessaryquestions in alignment with our internal policies to ensure Mr. *************** was handled appropriately.
Arcon had no prior knowledge of the settlementoffers provided to ****************** prior to his account being placed with Arcon forcollection. However, subsequently we did confirm through our client, Absolute************************************* LLC, that offers had been presented to ****************** bythe previous agencies who accepted assignment of Mr. ******** account forcollection. Our client also confirmed that no monies were paid towardacceptance or satisfaction of any of those offers.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:
This is false. The representative, ***********************, was incredibly **** and rude. She lied that the contract was legally binding and that I had to legally disclose to them why I did not want them to charge my account. I also had explained that financial account information had been transferred with the previous company and they were scheduled to take ACH deposits out of my account. I find it very "convenient" that they had no records of that information. If my agreement with them was "legally binding", so was the other one I had with the previous agency.
