I am not liable for debt with Western Anesthesiology Associates. Furthermore, I do not have a contract with Western Anesthesiology Associates. They did not provide me with the original contract as requested. I had a surgical procedure done at ***** ********* and my bill was covered by Mercy financial assistance insurance which includes anesthesia. Western Associates wrongfully billed me, due to laziness to cooperate with the hospital's financial assistance program, even after I called Western Anesthesiology Associates and sent them the Mercy Hospital award letter documentation directly from Mercy Hospital proving my medical coverage assistance. They need to bill Mercy hospital not me. I never signed any documents agreeing to pay them for my services. That was taken care of by the hospital. Therefore, I am not liable for this debt.Business Response

We provided anesthesia services for her surgery. Mercy covered the cost of the customer's surgery, but they did not cover the cost of anesthesia. Consumer can contact ***** directly at *********** *** *** to work something out.Customer Answer

Mercy paid for the cost of all health care services and they require that the anesthesia provider bill them directly since they awarded me with financial assistance for my entire surgery costs including anesthesia. I am rejecting this response because: Mercy paid for the cost of all health care services and they require that the anesthesia provider bill them directly since they awarded me with financial assistance for my entire surgery costs including anesthesia. Western Associates failed to bill them for their anesthesia and instead billed me, when I was not responsible. I have already called them and I’ve sent them my award letter directly from Mercy hospital as proof of my claim.

On April 3 I called this company and spoke to ******* about the alleged bill. We had a very lengthy conversation she said she would speak to an admin and get back with me that day April 3 on that business day. I confirmed on a recorded call that it would be that day. She also said it may be the end of the week so I confirmed the date for that. I kept my phone with because I believed ********* would keep her word and call me. Over a month later I still get exactly the same bill in the mail. I find out ******* had lied about calling me back but she hadn’t resolved the issue that she said she was going to resolve with the bill. I spoke with an older male supervisor today who is extremely dismissive of the problem of ******** lying. She lied about resolving the issue and she lied about calling me back. She did neither. The supervisor was very rude and hung up on me so I choose not to do business with this company. Aside from handling the issue through this complaint, Western Anesthesiologist Associates or their affiliates are not to communicate with me by any methods. I am battling a life-threatening illness and I do not have time to deal with people that don’t keep their word and childish supervisors that disconnect callsBusiness Response

This lady did say she owed the bill and we didn't call her back on the day we said we would so as a result she wanted us to write off her bill and we said no.

The call was recorded and what this person alleged in the ****** ******** ****** is completely false. The agent that I spoke with promised that they would call at the end of business day or at the latest the end of the week. I confirmed what she said in the recorded call. She didn’t follow up at all. She said she would go to the admin and ask about a financial arrangement as promised but she lied about that as well. This company is based on lies and deception. A month later I saw that she didn’t go to the admin at all. I had to call back in to find out that I have been lied to. They didnt take it seriously so I asked for a supervisor who in a recorded call hung up on me. I will be forwarding these recorded calls to the hospital. In addition the person answering this response lied I have the recorded calls as proof I didn’t ask that the bill br written off I asked that the original person to be dealt with for the lies and the payment arrangement be made as originally promised.
It is very clear from the recorded call that the person answering this complaint has made false statements just like the original person that I spoke to. I will not tolerate abusive behavior like the supervisor who hung up on me so there will be no more communication. You will be reported because I have the recorded calls. Cease and desist all communication with me

I am forced to file a complaint once again because the issue was not resolved. I’ve had ongoing problems with this company and was forced to file a BBB complaint with ***** ******** in hopes that Western Anesthesiology would resolve their issues. The latest issue is that three months ago they promised that if I made a payment of $30 twice and $27.00 that this would conclude all issues and the balance would be balance. I paid the agreed-upon amount on time however I was sent an invoice that I allegedly owe $111. The company failed to keep their word and now I’m forced to waste a great deal of time once again.Initial Complaint

Receive a bill for Western anesthesiology , Claims shows that they are in network . When I called so I could submit my financial assistance for ***** , *** stated we are not in network with ***** and don’t accept any kind of charlty !!Business Response
