In September, I took my 2008 pontiac g6 for a transmission rebuild to ammco transmission shop at ***** ********** ** ******* ** *****. I paid $3298.00 on Monday September 27th at time of pick up. I returned with my vehicle on September 28 due to problems with the shifter noise and multiple covers were not replaced under my hood. I was told there was no problems with the shifter but they adjusted it anyways as well as the exhaust has a leak but was not caused by them taking it apart to get the transmission out. I picked my car back up Thursday Sept 28th around 2pm I didn't make it home the car was smoking smelled like electrical wires and was pouring fuild from underneath the car. aamco towed my car back to the shop Friday September 29th and stated they were not responsible the damages and that it would be $600 more to fix once again a power steering problem i did not have before taking the car to the shop. while talking to ******* I offered to pay for the part if the shop covered the cost of labor since it was their damages where ******* told me my tires were "bald anyways" I also have photos of my tires that are/were brand new at the time. also what does my tires have to do with damages done to my car? October 7 brett the owner called they will not be repairing my car and to pick it up immediately. "BECAUSE I CALLED CORPORATE AND HIS OTHER LOCATION TRYING TO HAVE THE REPAIRS MADE CORRECTLY) I was supposed to recieve a 24 month warranty with my transmission repair. The transmission is not correct. I have a power steering and exhaust leak both parts they took apart to repair the transmission and I am out $3300 plus 3 tow bills and repair costs at a new shop. Ammco transmission ************ I towed my car immediately from aamco ballwin to ******* ********** in herculaneum mo. November 23 2021 I picked my car back up from sapaugh repairs were another $1300 and the technician found and documented aamcos repair guy left my power steering hoses dangling in mid air.
