    Provided *** with 1000 deposit to build my privacy fence. Was suppose to start a week later. Now it’s two months later and it’s excuse after excuse. And no work has been started at all. I shoulda did my research before paying my money. I know better next time

    I paid Joe's fence contractors $4,000.00 for a deposit on 8/1/2023 for a $8,400.00 fencing job. Immediately after the 2 week start time came and went, there were excuses, one after another. I finally got fed up with the guy and requested my money back on December 14th, 2023. He said 2 weeks, to get a refund, I still have nothing and he will not return my calls or messages. Basically, he stole my money, I just want a refund, nothing was ever done and no materials were ever delivered.

    April 1, 2023 I met with Joe Letzig of Joe's Fence to repair a broken section of fence. Quoted a price of $2800 and a start date of April 6, 2023.

    April 6, 2023 came and went - no word from contractor. I contacted and was told "next week" the work would be completed. After "next week" did not produce results, I contacted the owner that they had breached our contract and I wanted return of my deposit.

    On May 5, 2023 Joe sent a text indicating he'd "Refund Tuesday" (May 9). Did not refund and has not responded to messages demanding repayment.

    He came out on April 26, 2023 to give a bid and requested half up front for materials. I wrote him a check for 900 dollars and said he would be out in two days to complete work. He cashes check that next day, then never shows up to complete work and will not respond to any of my messages.

    Wrote a contract to install fencing at our home work was to begin 04-14-2023 we gave *** ****** ******* deposit total job cost 9000.00 the excuses began immediately ranged from funerals weather even one that said him and crew had the ********* *****) everyday he makes excuse he finally brought over a few pieces of material 04-26 and 04-28 brought fence post and did a little work haven't seen him since then. We trusted him only because he did work for us years ago and did a good job but we did not pay anything in advance. Constant daily excuses extremely unprofessional. 5500.00 is a lot of money and we are both disabled and retired.

    Amount Paid $2000.00
    Company was to provide a 6 foot wooden fence.
    Put posts in on March 10. Made many different appointments to install fence but never showed. Impossible to reach, does not answer calls or texts. We had a different fence company come out and they showed us that fence posts can be pulled right out of the ground and some are so crooked can't be used to put up a straight fence,
    Will not refund money, and we are afraid to have him finish fencing.

    My wife and I gave a $700.00 dollar deposit on a simple fencing job, the first week of June, 2022. Dozens of emails later we still do not have a fence installed! Promises made and none of them kept. This past week I called ********, which completed their work and was expecting Joes to complete an application for an Oak Grove city license. According to city officials the license application was never completed by Joes. We were expecting him this week for a fence install, especially after completing the ******** affair. Joes is not communicating! Four months later where is Joes Fencing, where is our $700.00 deposit!
