On Saturday Jan 15, 2022, I saw an advertisement for model farm toy collectibles on Facebook Marketplace being sold by RW Flea Markets in Bolivar Missouri. I reached out to inquire about product availability and began chatting with a Mr. *** ******. He informed me had several hundred model farm toys in inventory, and after several minutes, I agreed to purchase six rare Allis-Chalmers model farm tractors for $1100. He asked me to send payment via Walmart to Walmart for his convenience, as his wife, ******* ******, was employed there. I asked for a phone number and a picture of her Driver's License, as I was skeptical about this request. I looked up the consumer profile on Facebook Marketplace and also verified the validity of the business with Davis Properties, who informed me that RW Flea Market currently rents two spaces from their village mall shopping center. After gathering this information, I proceeded with payment the next day Sunday, January 16. Mr. ****** confirmed receipt of payment and assured me that my purchase would ship during the week of January 17. However, two weeks has now elapsed, and after several attempts to request a tracking number, picture proof of the product, etc, I have been given nothing but evasive answers. He will not provide a picture of the box or a tracking number, and his excuses are inconsistent. I informed him that I paid him $1100 over two weeks ago and I have nothing to show for it. (Pictures of ******* ******'s drivers license and text message exchanges can be provided if needed for the investigation)
