    Friday, October 6th. Initially, I booked a two night-stay. The first room I was assigned had stuff all over the carpet like no one had vacuumed. This room was on the 2nd floor. I believe it was room 205. I requested a room on the 9th floor. Another guest stated that floor had rooms with views of the lake. The room did have a good view.The first thing I noticed was the room smelled off like body order. I thought it was just me. I went to eat at the Sweet Shop. No issues there. I went back to my room showered and was in for the night. I discovered the source of the smell. It was mold. Mold on the vents and above the door. Mold on the wallpaper and ceiling of the bathroom. I should have asked for another room. By that time, it was almost midnight. Next, I found blood on a pillow and later on another part of the bedding. My first thought was bedbugs. The pillow looked like it had been laundered but the bloodstain didn't come out. You don't put a bloodstained pillow back in a room even if it has been laundered. An unused towel had black stains on it that resembled the mold on the ceiling. Can't use that towel. Why was it even in the room? The worst was the temp outside was in the 30s and 40s. My room had no heat. I kept turning the thermostat up to 79 and the temperature kept going down the longer it was on. The front desk concierge told me they hadn't switched over to the heat yet. I called at about midnight about the pillow. I explained it was too late to switch rooms. The desk clerk suggested I just throw the pillow some where so I didn't have to look at it. Upon checkout, I told the front desk about my issues. She assured me she would tell their manager. I talked to ************************* Tuesday. She said she would get back with me. She didn't. I called Wednesday (today) and she has not emailed me or called back. I'm getting the run-a-round from this hotel. At this point, I've wasted enough time and want a complete refund.
