I received a bill for $475.00 for money Branson's Nantucket said they lost due to covid. Each owner of property was charged this same amount. There nothing in my contract that say's i should pay for money lost by this resort. I own at one bedroom that i can use every three years and have been charged the same amount as an owner with three bedrooms with usage every year. I alway's pay my maintenance fee on time but this fee is listed as special assessment charge. I do not believe this charge is legal.Business response

My timeshare is paid in full, contract signed 4/14/2015 No upgrade, original contract stipulating only 2 charges. Timeshare payment and Maintenance fees $399 every 3 years. Even though I was charged $479 in Nov 2020 for 3 years. I didn't complain then but am complaining now because I received a new statement for assessment charges for $475 due on Oct 17, 2021 a fee not stipulated in contract. If I don't pay Equiant branson Nantucket billing service, they have my social security number where they will ruin my credit it I don't pay. That's either breach of contract or extortion. I sent a complaint to the Attorney General of Missouri. I want this resolved. I want to be reimbursed $80 for over charge of my maintenance fees and my equiant account ************ Statement voided for assessment fees of $475 And an apology from management for causing me stress.Business response

Our response to Mrs. ********'s complaint was mailed out directly to her in a letter dated October 12, 2021. If need be a copy of this letter can be emailed to her.
