1 starHello, This complaint due too EXTREMELY POOR services I've received from Waste Connections. They're only trash company for my community unfortunately. I've been a customer for 5 years now since I purchased my home. When I called in too set up services I advised the agent that there is one bin here at the property but I would also like another making it 2 bins for my location for trash services. Since October 2020 BOTH bins has been emptied. May I also add I called in 2 years ago to report one of the bins was damage by a driver so I asked for a replacement. I was then informed to leave damage bin out and use the one until the new one is delivered. I've had to call in every month for 2yrs to0 make sure services was coming due to the inconstant level of services I've received from this company. Trash day is on ****** and this week the driver didn't come AT ALL, I filed a missed pick up report and called this morning and was advised several customers called to report trash was not picked up for my street. When the driver came today he emptied ONE trash bin leaving the other BIN full of trash on the road. Since I've purchased this home 3 bins has been placed out every Sunday night 2 trash bins and one recycle bin for ****** services. I was informed TODAY that I'm only paying for one BIN, so the driver emptied one BIN! I'm beyond livid after the agent contact me to report this. I advised her that was incorrect and if they pull the recording from OCT 2020 you will clearly hear that I arranged for 2 bins. I was informed they can pick up the 2nd bin next MONDAY after I'm billed for the 2nd. Now this just one issue, the 2nd issue is that I was charged TWICE for my bill of *****, I called last Thursday to report this matter and which I was told they can only issue me a check to reverse payment. This company has been a NIGHTMARE to deal with and I reported a complaint with the company and my city about them I can get a ticket for what they just did today. PLEASE HELP!Review fromSarah O

5 starsAfter dealing with The Other Trashman leaving someones garbage can on a busier country road, I have such a deeper appreciate for this company that we use for waste management. I wish more of my neighbors would switch to them as well. I had a safety concern with my driver, and when I called, my concern was taken seriously and the supervisor pulled the tapes of the driver to walk through what happened. Their competitors will not do this. I have been super mindful of bringing my can in as early as possible on pickup day just in case it was left too close to the road or even on the road, but this is never an issue with them. 1 starThe customer service and management is awful. I had been with them for several years. Never late on a payment and no issues. Then they not only once, but twice missed my trash pick up. Would not come back and get it till the next week. They said they would credit my account and didn't until I called and asked about it again. Then my personal trash can that I have put out several times came up missing. First, they accused one of my neighbors until they reviewed the video footage on their truck and saw that the trash man threw it away. He claimed it was damaged. I told them it was not and they refused to replace it. After several calls one of which was to the supervisor named ****, he is the one who basically told me it was broken and his driver has never had a complaint so we were lieing I guess. We got disconnected and when I called back I was told that I would be getting a trash can. One ofbthere old ones. When it never showed I called again and was told that **** noted my account saying the can would not be replaced. I could not believe how I was being treated. Matter of fact I never once even got an apology. I just cannot believe how we were treated by them. They were fine until we had an issue and then they treated me awful. When I spoke to the office manager and told her everything she was very cold with me, and wouldnt even deal with me. She sent an email back to the **** (supervisor) who is a supervisor toncall me the next morning and he still never did. I had so much anxiety and stress because of this. NOT ONCE was I rude, never yelled. I was always respectful.Review fromBill K

2 starsI used this service for about 6-8 years and they have overcharged me like crazy. I started out at 125 dollars a month and kept raising the prices over time. By time I was done with them they were wanting to charge 189, and then when I confronted them about it they knocked the charge amount down to 120. Despite that, they are still overcharging compared to multiple competitors in the area. If you have their services, be very cautious about the bill. Make sure you are checking often to see if they are raising prices on you.Review fromSally S

1 starWaste Connection is the worst trash company I have ever used. They frequently do not pick up my trash for one stupid reason or another. For example, on more than one occasion they didnt pick up my trash because there was a car parked on the street near my driveway where my trash bins were, like I have any control over who parks on the street, and theyre just too lazy to get out of their truck and pick it up. And the other day, they didnt pick up my 2 bins of recycling because I was supposed to pay for 2 bins of recycling even though I already pay for the same 2 bins for trash! This company also will not pick up any trash unless its in the bin. I have NEVER had another trash company that doesnt pick up trash not in the bin! So I paid extra for the 2 bins I was already paying for. At this point, I was informed that they will pick up for free 2 items not in the bin one time a month but I have to call them first to let them know what these items are. I then told them that these 2 items will be 2 chairs, and the night before ( I always put out the trash the night before) I put the 2 chairs and the recycling out, and GUESS WHAT! They didnt pick up any of them. And when I called, the person told me that the drivers didnt see my recycling and 2 chairs, which is a bold face lie! I swear, if this wasnt a monopoly, I would use another service.Review fromDoug J

1 starI would leave 0 stars if possible. The ****** location is absolutely horrible. I have never experienced such rude and hostile management and support personnel. **************** should be left to those who try to problem solve and do what is in the best interest of their customer. Instead the ****** location is hostile, argumentative, and oppositional. They just want to be right, regardless. We have experienced multiple missed pick **** rude driver interactions, trash cans being left in front of the driveway ( verified through ring camera), and what I can only describe as seemingly intentional hostilities from management. They want to bark orders at you and have no interest in an intellectual conversation. I hope the city of ****** rips up the contract. Our citizens deserve better.Review fromEmmanuel O

2 starsI've been with this company for several years now. They raised their rates in sept by $10, then get my bill for dec. and it's been raised another $13. It's now $135 every 3 months. It's been raised several times throughout the year. Gas has gone down so why is it being raised on each billing cycle and not informing us?Review fromTom T

1 starreceived a note on the trash can stating that the lid has to be completely closed for them to collect the trash??? miss pickups and will not take anything that is not in the can. Have had this service for 8 years now and all of a sudden, they can't show up and take the trash. After calling was told they will pick up next week???? Talking to the city for a better solution. Good thing their is another local company.
