      I used Cape Radiology (account # ******* for some xrays in July 2024. I never received a bill from them for services provided. On Nov. 4, 2024, I received a bill from **** Radiology, LLC in the amount of $220.86. I tried to access their online payment option, but it was not available at the time. On 11/5/24, I mailed a check to Cape Radiology, LLC for the $220.86. On 11/9/24, I then received a collection letter from *************************** for the original creditor Cape Radiology Group PC in the amount of $83.00. I wrote a dispute letter regarding never receiving a bill. My problem is that Cape Radiology is known for their poor billing practices, as this happens often, and this continues to be a common problem with this group. This is not the first time this has happened to us over the years and this is why I am officially making a complaint.

      Cape Radiology Group keeps going after me for a debt that I have paid. I have even taken a loan out to pay this several years ago. They have apparently went before a judge and won a case that I was never even notified of. This business needs to be shut down.

      They refuse to work with my workman's comp representative, they have the lady's phone an fax number an have been in contact several times but they refuse to properly code the procedure for workman's comp to pay, the radiology group has been harassing me ever since the procedure. Every time we go thru the whole process I out them in contact with workman's comp and I'm told it's been worked out when it hasn't. And now they have sent the bill to collections

      Cape Radiology Group continued to work on the two claims totaling $277.00 for DOS 4/8/2022 even after the workers compensation carrier denied them.  They were sent to an outside agency for collection but were closed and returned to our office on 04/10/2023.  The workers compensation carrier has since paid both claims to our office on 05/3/2023.  The patient does not have a balance due on either item.

      I am rejecting this response because: this responce is partially correct cape radiology group stopped communicating and me for 2 to 3 months and would not respond to messages left. Then out of the blue I recieved a collection notice. I feel this was a attempt to get money from me while also accepting payments from workman's comp. The collection letter caused me great mental stress and anguish an triggered me in having to return to mental health treatments due to a past history with a ex spouse. Also caused me turmoil at work because of how i had to escalate my case all of this while I have a newborn child at home. Long story short the buisness financial department did a poor job of handling a simple case that they handled fine for several months prior to this bill in question. At this point I feel I should be compted for the anguish I have been put thru due to lack of communication on the businesses part and lack of effort at the job they was supposed to do.
