I purchased an adjustable bed which was under factory warranty. The bed is operational, but part of the frame came a loose from the bed causing the bed on the right side to lean & not provide support. It is a welding issue.I contacted the warranty department requesting a repair to be told it would *********** weeks for a decision to be made. I waited from June 17-July 3rd with no response from the company.On August 19th, I sent an email asking for the status to be informed the claim was denied. No communication came from the company without me initiating it.The company is saying the adjustable bed was sitting on a metal frame which it is not. I sent additional pictures to Lens ******, showing her the frame in question is 2 1/4" from the adjustable bed. No response or follow up from her. She is a customer service supervisor. She informed me when I called to speak with a supervisor it was an installation problem. I did not install the bed, Mattress Firm did. I read the manual in it's entirety, there's nothing in the manual advising not to put the bed inside of a metal frame, nothing. The only exclusive to void the warranty was weight limit of 850 lbs. This company need to do the right thing fix or repair their faulty product. This is workmanship problem.Business response

I contacted the business informed them I am working with Mattress Firm to replace the adjustable bed.
Please close the complaint. Still not satisfied with Leggett & Platt not assuming responsibility for their product.

I bought one of their adjustable bases on 6/2/24 and it was delivered and installed on 6/8/24 by rooms to go. Since then I cannot have more than 1 person sleep in the king size bed as one side does not support ANY weight!!! I have tried more than 90 times to call their warranty number but it is always a busy signal no matter when you call. I have my phone records to prove how many times and days I have attempted to reach this company. I also submitted an online request with no results. I need this base fixed or replaced ASAP so my husband and I can go back to sleeping togetherBusiness response

Hello ***************, I apologize that you are having issues with your adjustable base. I checked for previous emails from you, and I found one email that was submitted today (8/8/2024). I am sorry but our call center is closed today due to inclement weather that we are experiencing in our area from the tropical storm. I will have one of my specialists to contact you when we return back to the office to address this concern. I will also reply to the email that you sent in. We bought an adjustable base bed and mattress.Over $3000 ************ has never resolved an issue we have, The adjustbale bed stopped working and my husband and I have health issues and depend on the this high dollar bed to work. It is aproximately 3 years old. The control unit is not working with remote. Everytime we to try to call you get a different person and they say they will help resolve the issue and then they never follow through. Left messages, emails, etc. NO RESPONSE. I have tried to resolve the issue myself on ******* ******* DIY but to NO AVAIL. WHERE IS THE CUSTOMER SERVICE?? *** asking to have the bed repaired at NO CHARGE or replace it! PS I had even gone to a local bedding store to get help. They were very nice and tried to help and were the ones who diagnosed the issue ( control unit (brain) that obviously makes the bed work or not.Business response

I asked the customer for the best time for one of my specialists to reach her. My husband and I purchased an adjustable frame March 2023. The frame started to bend in the middle to which we (my husband and I) thought our eyes were deceiving us. We attempted to try and get information from Mattress Firm and finally got an answer as to how to process the warrranty claim. We contacted Leggett and Platt and then waited a few weeks for as response. We scheduled to have a technician by the name of ***** come to our home and look at our frame. We were under the assumption that he was going to fix it or look at it to tell us how to get it fixed. ***** showed up to our home on 06 April 2024. He came in and took pictures and my husband asked him what happens next. ***** stated that he was just there to take pictures and that's it. He proceeded to leave our residence. On 10 April 2024, my husband told me that the technician came back out and took pictures again because your company requested it be done to which my husband said that it seemed to be a waste of time and ***** agreed. The second time ***** entered my home I was not present. Today, 11 April 2024, ******************************************** spoke to my husband and stated the technician stated I told him that I sat on the edge of the bed to feed my kids to which my husband informed her that couldn't be true because I never engaged in talking to him and I wasn't present the second time he came. She then asked my husband if he had ever sat at the edge of the bed and he informed her that there is a possibility that he could have at which point Ms. ******** informed my husband that because he stated that our frame complaint was voided. My husband called me and we went back and forth about her technician lying on me and the unrealistic expectation of sitting on a beds edge to which she stated it was in a manual that we never received that we could never sit on the edge. I asked to speak to her supervisor to which she said she was the supervisor and wouldn't give me more information. I have called corporate.Initial Complaint

I have made several attempts to contact Leggett & Platt Inc regarding my adjustable base that I purchased in October 2019 from Mattress Firm. In March, I called Leggett & Platt Inc regarding my base leg. I was told that I needed to have the serial number. I searched for the serial number. I thought that I had it but it was the wrong numbers. I sent a copy of the leg and serial numbers to their customer representatives. They were polite. The process of obtaining the requested information is very strenuous. I am not able to continue to keep getting on my knees to obtain pictures of the base legs. I have bad knees.Initial Complaint

I ordered headboard brackets for an adjustable bed purchased on Saatva.com. The brackets arrived and do not fit. I contacted the company for a return authorization but the representative was condescending, telling me she couldnt do that because they sent me the correct part. I offered to send pictures of my bed frame to prove it wouldnt work with the provided brackets. She said no, that wouldnt help because she knows I was sent the correct item. She offered to refer me to a technician (that I would have to pay) to install the brackets for me. She told me if I sent them back, my only option was to pay for shipping back myself. Also, i could be refunded but without the original cost of shipping. In the end, I would only be eligible for about $30 refund on an over $80 order. The rep was not helpful at all, condescending and she made me feel like I was devoid of sense and spatial skills. I asked a handy man to confirm that the brackets wont fit. He spent an hour trying to make the brackets fit and said they WOULD NOT work unless we drilled different holes in the frame. I am not sending documentation of the order because the company did not send me any confirmation email or shipping notification. I had to wait on hold about 30 minutes each time I called for customer service. I attempted to contact them through their website but the only way to speak to someone is by waiting on hold for a LOOOOOOOONG time.Business response

We bought a Leggett and Platt adjustable bed frame in December 2023. In November, our bed frame bent at the welds. We contacted Leggett and Platt on November 14th. After several phone calls, we finally received a call back saying they will replace the bed. We have NOT heard anything back since. Every time I phone they say a supervisor will call me back in 48 hours. We still have not heard anything. Every time we call back, we get "we are still working on it, please be patient. a supervisor will contact you within 48 hours". I am beyond frustrated with their customer service/warranty. My adjustable base does not go flat. It goes up and down but not al the way flat. My neck hurts everyday. I think the pillow section is not functioning. I tried calling and waited on hold before leaving a phone number. No one called back. So I waited and waited and I am still waiting. 40 minutes so far.Business response

i have a 6 year old adjustable bed . I thought it was the remote that caused the head to stop working. Ordered remote to find out it was a different problem, called them and of course of the !06 dollars , they said i could only recoup 87.00 Also they would not send a paid return label so i had to absorb that cost as well...then they say it will take up to 30 days to put MY money back on my card, this is NOT a company i will buy another mattress or base from and my sister and her money will go elsewhere as well......bad service , bad warranty. takes forever for them to answer phone!!!!Business response

Bed stopped working we paid for an additional warranty for this bed. When we called and told him that the bed was no longer working, they said they send us the parts. First of all that's unfair to the customers. Me and my husband bought this adjustable bed because we both have nobility issues and we are both handicapped now. We don't have the adjustable bed then they want to send us parts. The bed is not working. We're supposed to be taxed with the problem of putting the parts on the bed. So we have to contract someone out to come in and put the parts on the bed and the bed still is not working. This is the second motor, the second remote and the second power supply that they sent to us. This is ridiculous at this point Its fair to just send/deliver new adjustable base that's working ...we wasted money and buying an additional warranty to be sent parts to the bed ...this is unacceptable
