    I had some work done at a rental property located at ********************************************************************. Followed the advise of an insurance adjuster and hired Rainbow Restoration. I needed to secure the property and have some work done to repair damages. I asked for an estimate to repair the house. He brought a ********* with him on 1/8/24 to secure the house while he did the estimate. The invoice for the boarding up is more hours than they were on site and materials. They charged me for lumber that they did not leave. The contract is three pages long, but I have not seen the estimate yet. He states the insurance company requires the contract. ***************** states they do not require it. I have not paid the invoice yet.

    Please find the attached Invoice for Board Up and the Rainbow Contract for my property at ********************************************************************.
     
    The Invoice has charged me for materials that were not used or left at the property and an Excessive amount for a Framing ********* plus Overhead and Profit.
     
    I requested an Estimate for the damages to the above proprety. I never recevied the estimate because I wouldn't sign the attached Contract.

    *********** We strive to offer excellent service and value to our customers.


    We hope you understand, our charges were for more than just the materials to board up your property but were also for our time to pick up and purchase these materials, travel an hour to your property, and for the labor required to board it up at the request of your insurance adjuster.


    Even though we started at 3 pm, we were still on your property until after dark and had the additional hour drive home. Because of this, your adjuster approved an after-hours service fee. All in all, we felt that $564.85 was a fair amount for our time, labor and materials.


    We fully expected these costs to be paid for by your insurance company as part of your vandalism claim. Because your claim has not yet been approved, and you have not received reimbursement, we will waive these fees. We trust this resolves your concerns and this complaint.

    Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to discuss and come to a mutually-agreed upon resolution.
