This business knowingly sold me THC-O product that is both illegal and DANGEROUS when used as directed. Pro-cannabis organizations such as ***** and pro-vape sites are saying it is NOT SAFE TO INHALE the synthetic cannabinoid as it can cause lung injury requiring hospitalization, even after a single use. Each exposure CAUSES CUMULATIVE LUNG DAMAGE and CAN LEAD TO DEATH. Dangerous THC-O products include flower, dabs and vapes. THC-O is an acetate, producing LETHAL ketene gas when heated. It has the exact same problem as vitamin-E acetate, which caused over 2800 people to be hospitalized and almost 70 deaths when it was used in certain vape cartridges, causing the EVALI outbreak in 2019 (see CDC website). I called Poison Control who confirmed that repeated exposures caused those deaths. In January of 2023 Forbes Magazine published an article saying "THC-O Acetate May Trigger New EVALI Outbreak." THC-O is also overhyped and actually not as strong as D9 THC. When presented with the evidence of danger, The Green Dragon CBD accepted even the open packages for a full refund, contrary to store policy. But a week after I spoke to management about this product, they are still advertising the dangerous forms on their website. Their site contains a lot of info on THC-O but of course, nothing indicating it's more dangerous than Delta-9 THC (the natural form that cannot kill you). I liked TGD's store and its customer service team (non-management). But THC-O was made federally illegal in February of 2023. In March, TGD email blasts said "All THC-O Must Go" and an employee told me the company knew it was illegal and would keep selling it until forced to stop. This indicates a LACK OF CARE FOR CUSTOMER SAFETY. The same can be said of ANY BUSINESS that SELLS INHALABLE THC-O (edibles are believed safe). Check with *****, *** ***, ****** ********, ********* and others, as I assume I can't post URLs in reviews. If you google it, rule out results from sites still selling THC-O.
