    The consumer indicates in the complaint that the consumer is not liable for the debt, consumer has no contract with ARC, and the consumer would like validation of the debt. The consumers desired resolution is for ARC to correct the credit report. 
    Debt validation was mailed to the consumer in August 2024. An agreement is not required between the consumer and ARC.  
    ***** P. ****, **** President of ARC would typically attempt to call the consumer, however, the consumer has requested communication cease. ARC would like the consumer to know that their office is available to discuss the account/complaint at any time. As it relates to the consumers request that the account is removed from the credit reporting agencies, ARC would like the consumer to know that the policy of ARC is to credit report accurately. Since the consumer has received validation, ARC is not aware of incomplete or inaccurate credit reporting, and the consumer has requested no communication, there was nothing further for ARC to do at this time as it relates to the complaint. However, ARC remains available to discuss the complaint with the consumer at any time.

    Upon receipt of complaint, ARC reviewed the account. ARC has agreements with creditors to forward accounts for collection. An agreement is not required between the consumer and ARC. ARC has no record of the consumer requesting a contract before this complaint. ARC will mail validation of the debt to the consumer on 1/14/25.
    ARC attempted to call the consumer on 1/10/25, however ARC was not able to reach the consumer. ARC would like the consumer to know that their office is available to discuss the account/complaint at any time. As it relates to the consumers request for a correction to the credit report and deletion of the account from credit reporting, ARC would like the consumer to know that since a contract between ARC and the consumer is not necessary, the account was validated, the account appears to be reporting accurately, and ARC attempted to call the consumer, there was nothing further for ARC to do at this time as it relates to the complaint.     This business is illegally and unlawfully attempting to collect a debt that I do not agree with being mines. Their continued harassment is starting to take toll on my day to day life. I would like for them to remove all the misleading information that they are reporting to my personal credit report. I have attached a letter describing the laws that they re violating and I hope to have this issue resolved immediately or I will have to seek legal help.

    Account Resolution Corporation (ARC) received this complaint ******** on 9/20/24. The consumer indicates that ARC is illegally and unlawfully attempting to collect a debt. ARC has reviewed the letter sent by the consumer and is not aware of any unlawful or illegal attempts to collect.
    The consumers desired resolution is for no contact from ARC, for ARC to cease all mailings and to delete the account from the consumers credit report.
    Upon receipt of the complaint, ARC reviewed the account in question. ***** P. ****, Jr.,President of ARC would typically call the consumer to discuss the complaint and account; however, the consumer requested ARC cease communication with the consumer. ARC will mail validation to the consumer on 10/28/24.
    ARC would like the consumer to know that their office is available to discuss the account/complaint at any time. As it relates to the consumers request that there is no contact from ARC, and for ARC to cease all mailings except for validation, ARC would like the consumer to know that ARC considers the complaint resolved. Since ARC has mailed validation and restricting communication as requested by the consumer, there was nothing further for ARC to do at this time as it relates to the complaint.
