I paid Fresh Start Sober Living for 3 nights stay. I was unfairly discharged after 1 night. They refuse to refund me $40 for two nights I did not stay there. They supply absolutely nothing and the people there need help getting on their feet. They did not tell anyone ahead of time what to bring. Most wasn't even paying rent like I had to. I am very upset over the whole situation and would atleast like my money back please.Business response

We provide recovery housing for individuals with alcohol and drug problems We have a respite house for people to stay while they are getting it out of their system and can go into a regular group home. The requirement of this house is you can only bring two bags of personal belongings and your own bedding, food and hygiene products with you. There is no guest allowed at any time on the property, and you cannot leave unless accompanied by staff or a treatment provider. If you choose to leave or get discharged for using substances, you can request a refund and we have 30 days to return the funds. In this situation she was there for 2 days and one night. She did not follow any of the rules. She asked the housing manager for her forty dollars back. She was told she would need to request that at the main office that they do not have access to the money. I have never spoke to this individual to resolve this. All she has to do is request her refund and let me know where to send it. She was notified prior to move in about all of these rules. She was also very aware that using substances in Fresh Start is not allowed. If she wants to call the office and request her refund it will be refunded within a timely manager. She has not done that
