    We worked with a broker names ******* "****" ******. We asked him to assist us with getting some gap insurance for 2 months and let him know we needed the insurance to cover my current doctor, as I am currently pregnant. He let us know the insurance provider that he picked (WellFrist) would 100% be taken by my current doctor that we provided to him by name. After my next doctor *********** I found out they DID NOT in fact take that insurance. When we let him know this he said "That makes no sense because SSM created that insurance." Um...our doctor (the one we provided to you by name) works at Mercy but in a private practice. We were charged $450 for insurance that didn't even work. THEN we received bills for out of pocket care for that visit of $200. So we spent $650 and received zero coverage/service thanks to *******. Due to his complete lack of research to verify the one thing was asked, that our doctor be covered, the gap coverage was useless. When we called to discuss this with him along with the $200 out of pocket fees we now had he was extremely rude said it isn't his fault and hung up. Since the costs were entirely due to his inability to do his job, I was hopeful he would take fault nd cover our out of pocket charges but I was instead greeted with a very rude, childish response. I have never experienced such horrible customer service. I really hope this company can provide some kind of training to ******* so he doesn't completely ***** over another family in their time of need.
