    ***** *****/Hometown Handyman performed work and on **********************************. He claimed 1 year guarantee. However, ***** *****/Hometown Handyman will not respond to messages or calls with issues on work.Issue #1:January 2024 repaired well house plumbing pipes and added heat tape. Job was $800. Very low water pressure in the mobile home. Unable to take shower, use dish washer or washing machine. Will need to call another plumbing service to come out and try to repair issue since Hometown Handyman/***** ***** does not actually warranty work as he said he would Issue #2,February 2024, cost $2500, Fix ceiling in areas with mold and other jobs. Ceiling texture was of poor quality and needs to be re-done in a professional manner. Hometown Handyman/***** ***** will not respond to make right the job.

    We hired this business in March of 2024, he presented a contract to us for our house remodeling. He quoted us at ******. We never received a copy of the contract. He said that the work would be done by June. Over the last five months, he collected $19,000 from us but only completed 25% of the project. He stopped communicating with us after we tried to contact him three weeks ago. He has left a huge mess at our house and hasn't finished the work. We had another contractor come look at his work and most of it is done incorrectly so not only will we have to pay for someone to fix his work, he has $19,000 when in reality he only needed maybe $6000 for what he did complete. The plumbing he installed for our new tub leaked causing damage as well.

    Timeline of Events 10/13/23, defendant states he will give a quote and arrive at residence at noon on 10/15/23. At 11:40 am on 10/15/23, the defendant messages they are running 20 minutes behind and lost track of time. The defendant was told that there was another commitment at 1 p.m. Defendant shows up at 2 p.m.10/17/23 received invoice **** with the quote for labor and materials in the amount of $8200 with request for $2200 to get scheduled and enter into contract. 10/18/23 deposit in the amount of $2200 was paid. This amount cleared my bank on 10/19/23. Defendant references start date of 10/25/23. Defendant agrees to return on 10/19 to verify measurements on 10/19/23. 10/19/23 Defendant was a no call no show. Sent a text at 5:13 pm asking when he planned to stop by. No response.10/20/23 Defendant messages and says it lipped his mind about coming up and he forgot to tell his wife ******. Says he can come up first thing in the morning. States he will come at what time will work for us. The time given was 11 am-1 pm. 10/21/23 Defendant was no call no show.10/21/23 Defendant messages asking for a good time to come on 10/22. Plaintiff states 4 pm and reiterates good communication and timeliness are a must. Plaintiff states that your word is everything.10/22/23 Defendant shows up at 5:30 pm. Another conversation was had to discuss being on time and doing what you say you are going to do.10/24/23 Defendant communicates he will not start on Wednesday due to the delivery date of the cabinets. States he will call this evening. This is agreeable to the plaintiff.10/25/23 Did not receive a call on 10/24, but did receive a message on 10/25 stating he would show up on 10/26/23. 10/26/23 No call No show 10/27/23 Messaged ****** that I had taken off work the day before and ***** was a no call no show. Wife, ****** messages back with apologies and that its a bad look and that she were me, she wouldnt believe what she was saying. States shes frustrated at him too. At 7:39 pm. ***** texts an apology that it was a miscommunication with his wife and they will be at the residence at 9:30 to begin. 10/28/23 Received a text from ***** stating he would be late because he was helping his mother in law move some furniture. At this point, I asked for my money back by end of business on 10/30/23. Defendant states he has spent some of the money and apologizes stating he will do everything he can to make that deadline. States that he is reliable. 10/31/23 at 3:05 am received a text from defendant stating he does not have to pay back the deposit.

    On Feb 19, 2022 we paid a deposit of $1,862.50 to get shelves put into 5 closets in the condo at the address provided. Work was suppose to begin on Monday, March 14, 2022. It was moved to March 15th because ********************* hurt is back. Then it was moved because they had a sewer leak. They showed up on March 19th and worked a couple hours fabricating two shelves in each of the two downstairs bedrooms. A payment was made to them on March 19th for $750.00. They agreed to come to the condo on May 18th to resume work but they did not show. We told them that they could come on July 11th and resume work but they did not come. On July 11th, we went to their residence/establishment, ****************************************************. We were told by ************************* son that ********************* no longer lived at this address. By e-mail we have asked for a refund and our calls have been blocked.We do not know how to get in touch with them.
