************************** was owned by *************** (a great vet) He sold it to a young vet. I took my dogs in for my shots and heart worm tests. My dogs have always been on heartworm medicine. My female germ shep comes back positive for the worms. Well, the new vet has fired the secretary and basically tells me we dont have a record that you have always had her on preventative. What a crock. Then they say they cant find her last test before this one. Every excuse in the book to get me to pay for my girls treatment. I am switching my male to the annual vaccine for heart worms and getting my girl treated by a better vet. This is such a scam. I had gone to the previous vet for ten years, he was trustworthy and good with my dogs. This new vet, does not treat the customers fair at all. I cant believe that a vet loses records of prescriptions and procedures. My fur babies needs a reliable vet that keeps records and does not try to cheat the customer. Buyer beware. Dont be like me and find out that the vet cannot properly manage your pets medical records when you need them the most. Stay far away from ******************* in **********, **.

    Weber Road Vet Response

    11/12/2021

Just a few weeks ago this person was extremely pleased with our clinic. Since then Ive had to break the news that one of his pets did not qualify for a manufacturer guarantee. I was able to get this person over $150 of free services, but due to his pets history the full treatment was not covered. ****************** (identified by this reviewer as "a great vet") has reviewed this persons file and has confirmed that we have accurate and complete records. I have urged this person to reach out with any questions but he has yet to respond. I highly recommend that this client contact the online company where he purchased the medicine to see if they have any available guarantee.

The new vet did leave me a phon response, saying that the reason treatment was not covered i# that my girl never had a heartworm test. She had received them. My dog is my best friend, I could care less about the cost. When I am told that there is no record of her heart worm tests and that there are missing records that sends way to many warnings of incompetency. My dog is now at anew practice recommended to me by a judge friend of mine. I do believe the young vet has a good relationship with the animals. My girl seemed to like her. I just cannot take chances when it comes to the life of my dog. The new practice that I took my girl to also has an annual heart worm preventative shot, that we will be using once her treatments is complete. Maybe the the records are missing because the long term secretary that the had was fired by the new vet, I am not sure what happened. Bottom line, telling me that she did not have tests , when I knew she did, and making excuse after excuse does not instill confidence. The vet I replaced this one with is more expensive, but also has a very professional practice. I spend a small fortune every year on my pets, this is more about quality of care than cost. I myself am a professional, if I tried to cover any mistake I made with lies and half truths, I would not be practicing for long. I will say, the free $$ services comment is a miss statement, to say the least. They should have done the right thing. Im actually glad this happened, better to know early on that a practice has issues. I am sure her inexperience will be resolved with time.
