After receiving medical treatments, my teeth became very loose and I lost some. I made an appt. with **************** for implant-supported dentures and was assured that should I lose more teeth they would be deducted from the estimate I was given. In May, 2023, I returned for the procedure at which time I told the Tech I had lost more teeth and had actually kept them for proof. She said she would let the Dr. know. Starting the procedure the Dr. said he would not be doing the implants and gave no valid reason why. Extraction of the remaining teeth began and I was fitted with temporary dentures afterwards and told when to return. Returning, I asked if the estimate had been adjusted and in speaking with the Dr. for several minutes he asked "What would it take to resolve the issue, a refund?" I don't expect to pay for services you did not perform, I replied. He showed me a photo copy of what appeared to be a very blurry x-ray and said he had extracted all the teeth on the estimate I was given. This was not true, how did I have teeth in my possesion that he claims he pulled? I took the photocopy to a dentist and asked him if he could tell how many teeth was shown. He said he couldn't accurately because the copy was too blurry and inferior in quality.I have not eaten solid food since May, 2023. When **************** said he was not refunding me even though I reminded him that he had made the suggestion, he replied "Well I have changed my mind." I told him I would see him court and that is when he remarked "After today you are not allowed back in this building." I asked about follow-up care and the warranty already paid for and he said "I will not honor them." This was all witnessed by *****, the Tech. The dentures I have received are ill-fitting, too large and fall out when I try to eat or talk. At this time I am requesting a FULL refund. I have been treated by a negligent and unethical doctor.

The customer complaint stems from her opinion that an inaccurate number of teeth were removed. She believed she was over billed because she counted them and disagreed with my assessment. Parts of teeth can chip, break and pieces or roots remain. These pieces or roots still need to be removed.

Obviously, it is fraudulent and unethical to bill for work not completed. Therefore, I am confident that I was correct in what was completed. We have records taken the day of care which confirm work completed. Furthermore, second opinions can be encouraged to gain confidence in care and records are freely released to appropriate parties.

I attempted to resolve and explain the situation with the customer on multiple occasions but no agreement could be reached.

Finally, threats of lawsuits result in inappropriate relationships between providers and patients. While a threat or two is typically forgiven, continued conflict and threats are not tolerated.

I am rejecting this response because: Had **************** made good on his suggestion of a refund for teeth he did not extract, this complaint would not have existed . I only proceeded with treatment because I thought him a man of his word, however, he did not follow through with that offer. After informing the tech that I had lost teeth since the consultation, how difficult would it have been had he or the tech counted the remaining teeth as extracted? The one and only time the Dr. tried to resolve the issue was when he suggested a refund which he later told me, "I've changed my mind," which prompted this complaint. Many red-flags emerged during his treatment which I should not have ignored. He has no proof he extracted the teeth that were noted in the consultation and that the teeth I saved are indeed the ones I lost prior to seeing him in May.The inferior/abusive treatment, and the fit and appearance of the dentures I received, are other reasons I am requesting a full refund.  What medical professional bans a patient from his building and deny the treatment and warranty of his product?

      Sincerely,

We have nothing further to add to previous response. Attaching x-rays to support our work is a violation.  Unfortunately, I do not believe there is anything that can be done to satisfy this individual.

Thank you for reviewing the response and complaint.

      Complaint: 21254625

I am rejecting this response because: **************** has proven his position as a provider who is unwilling to satisfy his customers, overcharging and not respecting terms agreed upon.  At this point, all that can be said is  BUYERS BEWARE!

      Sincerely,
