My parents reached out to this Precision Garage Doors location to replace their garage door at their home, they requested two layer steel, sunray window option, and long panel for the design. The garage door was recently installed and did not have the sunray window option nor the long panel design that was requested. I do have a confirmation e-mail from 12/2/2022 in which this description was provided to their team. My brother initially contacted the company to follow up and was told that they "accidentally" sent the short panel design and offered to take $100 off the bill for this mistake that was made by the company clearly. What I find really funny is that one individual that he spoke with told him that they could see where the long panel & window option was noted and another apparently could not find this information anywhere. It's interesting how two individuals at the same company can not have access to the same information. I think it's all a matter of who is actually paying attention. I called to follow up with the company on 1/25/2023 as my mom is not happy with the current design as it wasn't what was requested and spoke with ***** who had a rather snarky attitude who tried to argue with me that this was not their companies fault solely and that she was "offended" by me stating so. They offered to take off another $100 off the bill, which in my opinion is not suffice in this situation. The fact that one of your representative didn't read the e-mail properly, then told us you "accidentally" sent the wrong panel design, and then try to argue with me and not take responsibility for an error that was made on your end. The door should be replaced fully with the design that was requested & the window option as well for no additional charge because of the hassle that we've had to deal with. The garage door has already been replaced. Would not recommend this company to anyone as it's clearly a headache dealing with them.Business response

I just wanted to report that we have resolved the situation with ***** ***** and her door issue. We had a language barrier issue with her mother, her husband and herself. It is all handled and we will be replacing a new door for her mother shortly.Initial Complaint

Signed a contract with precision footing on April 4, 2022. Precision Door Company made two attempts to install garage door with no success. I was told that door ordered was wrong size and would not fit. I need to bring in a carpenter to build up the door way at my cost. I tried to cancel my service. Company will not return my call to refund my deposit of 700.00 dollars. Made many attempts to company company. No return phone call.Business response

Our company reached out to the consumer directly regarding this concern. We resolved this complaint by providing him a full refund.
