    Took my grinder there to get some work done on it and was quoted a price so told them to proceed on fixing it.Next day they called said they found all sorts of problems and price to fix went up $3000 plus.Told them I couldnt afford to fix that so they seem like they lost interest in fixing what was originally supposed to be worked on.Went and picked it up and its in pieces and paid them $820 for a machine that I can not use.Machine ran great when dropped off.So now I must find someone else to put this grinder back together

    The customer brought the machine in for repair. We originally gave him a rough estimate on the machine to fix it because we really did not know how long it was going to take to fix the machine. After we got the parts off, we noticed that some other parts were bad on the machine and needed to be replaced. Both shafts and all the bearings needed to be replaced. Which would require around 3-4 more hours of labor and the parts were around another **** dollars in parts, tried to call the customer, and he did not answer, so I called the other number we had on the ticket and it was his wife and she really wasnt a fan of this machine she stated she couldnt afford to put anymore money into this machine. I offered the customer to come in and we could talk about the repair so I could show him why we needed to put other parts into the machine. I told the wife the price to fix the machine and she said she was going to have to talk with her husband, at that time she told me not to do anything more to the machine. The next day she called and I told her that the machine was not operational and she responded and told me that they could not afford to continue the repair so I boxed up all the parts and stopped working on the machine. I told her that I had ordered the parts for this machine and we agreed together that she was going to buy the parts so that if she sold the machine or fixed it themselves, they would have the parts. So, I ended up selling her the parts we were going to put on and I had labor into the machine that we needed to get paid for, she agreed to pay the $ ****** knowing her machine was not operational. The customer was given all the parts to fix this repair at another time.
