We entered into a contract with Clean Drain USA on November 17, 2022, to do master bathroom plumbing for a shower and tub (to include a tub filler) and to install a drain plus a vent pipe to the vanity. A deposit of $1700 was given to start the job. Shortly after work began on November 21, 2022, we noticed two pipes in the basement had cracks (they were NOT there prior to the start of the job). We contacted ****** ***** the owner and sent photos via text message. He assured us the problem would be repaired before inspection and made no mention of additional cost. On November 26 or 27 2022, *** ***** sent **** (the plumber in charge of our job) to fix the cracked pipes and run the lines for the tub filler (but did not connect) prior to inspection. November 28, 2022 @ 10:25am *** ***** sent a text message to inform us that the repairs had been made and the water lines ran and an additional $1200 was due for the repair. ******** replied and asked *** ***** why he would do repairs in our home outside of our contracted price of $3500 and not have a conversation with either of us beforehand. Secondly how are we held responsible for repairs that were not necessary before his employee came into our home and performed work. Monday December 5, 2022 @ 2:02pm *** ***** sent a text message informing us we passed inspection and could close up the wall and asked about the final payment of $1800. *** ***** meet ** ****** December 7, 2022, at the QT on St. Charles Rock and 270 @ 10:20am and was given final payment. We have spoken to *** ***** to find a resolution for the additional undiscussed charges and there has been no resolution to date. We have paid *** ***** in FULL and have not received what our agreed upon contract stated. Our tub filler has NOT been connected, the tub has not been set to the drain in the floor, and we have not passed FINAL inspection with St. Louis County. Our goal is to be made whole and receive the services we have paid for in FULL.Business response

The contract was fulfilled on the date of inspection on the date of rough end inspection. Customer chose to go with someone else for a final inspection which would have included the work that was not completed.Customer response

Reply delay.
I was attempting to get cost for the completion of the job. *** ***** was allowed 30 days to respond and I was not given 14 days.
