We bought a home with expensive quaker windows and doors that are all leaking and missing hardware. I tried to speak to the owner at *********************** who installed them but he denies any issues or does not cares to fix the problems. He said previous owners never had issues but we had to replace the flooring where the doors leaked and now replace the doors. It has been a mess. The house is only 4 years old.

I built a new house in 1999 and within two years had seventeen window double pane glass failures. Quaker replaced the failed windows but the tint was different resulting in several attempts and failures to get them to match the original color of the original window glass. I continued to have window seal failures over the next few years resulting in several more of the original and the most of the replacement windows being replaced five or six times some lasting only a few months. The windows fill with moisture between the double glass panes and the rubber sealing strips around the edges swell up and are visible thru the glass. After the ten year warranty period and over thirty window failures Quaker would no longer give me any help or answer my inquiries. The windows have continued to have seal failures and now several more are foggy and full of moisture. The last time I contacted Quaker I was told they had switched glass suppliers and could not help me. In my communication with Quaker I have always been polite and proffesional. I have not contacted them in a few months as the last several phone messages were unanswered. Art *******

In 2019 I had Quaker windows installed in my house including a very expensive bay window. From day 1 of the install the window began leaking very bad. It let water in the house ruining the Sheetrock around the window and warping the hard wood floors around the window. Quaker sent techs out 4 different times to try and repair the window. After the 4th time believing we had the window fixed I repaired the sheet rock and the floors. Then after a year I began to notice the sheet rock around the window beginning to fall off and after further investigation I found the window to be leaking again. Now Im trying to contact Quaker and have talked to several people in the company and all have said theres nothing they can do. At this point I just want a refund and they can have their window back.

Perhaps the worst customer experience we have ever had. We spent nearly $90,000 on Quaker windows and doors only to be incredibly disappointed in both their product and customer service. We were first told by ********************** that the sliders we were installing would sag under the windows them miraculously it was all fine. The latching and locks installed on the set doors were manufactured too short, so we had to set bags of cement against them to keep them from blowing open. They admitted that the three sliders we bought were manufactured incorrectly. It looked like a wind tunnel when the wind blew. None of the locks worked and one of the doors was bowed and a replacement had to be sent. It took 8 months to get the company to address the problems. And their fis was pretty much ***** rigging weather stripping, so who knows what this winter will bring. I spent $7002 trying to get the issues fixed and **** the sales director told me only $750 was bc of their manufacturing issues. How he sleeps at night, I dont know. But do yourself a favor and stay as far away from Quaker windows as you possibly can

Quaker windows is a family owned down to earth fair in every way business. With things the way they are at the moment in the world it's nice to see a company who teaches a skill to their employees and continues to do all it can to look out for them and their families. Each window is made by many people who put hard work and great effort in trying to make their customers happy. Now of course like any business there are gonna be a few bad apples that cause a few problems in the handling of material but over all if you're looking for good quality windows and doors then quaker is the way to go. They have a wonderful variety to choose from and a great staff to answer all your questions and concerns.

Had a builder grade ******** sliding door that was horrible since day one. I bought a 3 pane Quaker slider and could not be any happier. Door quality is outstanding in ease of operation and so are the thermal, wind resistance, and uv specifications. I have installed many doors and windows and can vouch that they build a great product. Very rigid door frame adds to the quality of this door for installation. Reading other complaints lead me to believe they used a poor installer. Prepping the opening, properly flashed, caulked and shimmed correctly will provide for a long lasting door. Regardless of door manufacturer, *********************** make all the difference. I did my own install, but I have a lot of experience and take the time to do it right. Thank you Quaker for providing g a great product at a fair price.

We purchase 4 fixed windows from Quaker Windows, and 3 of the 4 are warped. They have lied, and argued and refused to admit the windows were warped, until yesterday. Now they admit the frames are warped but are trying to blame anyone else. I have tried to negotiate a fair settlement so that I can move on and get windows from someone else, but they are refusing. Twice I have been told by their employees that if the windows sit in the sun "they will melt". What kind of exterior window "melts"? The windows are poorly made, and arrived with broken and missing installation fins. The windows get an "F" rating from me, and my contractor and a number of others in the construction industry who have looked at the warped frames!! DO NOT BUY QUAKER WINDOWS!
