    May 31, 2024 moving company dropped and shattered a flower pot. Flower pot was photographed and an email was sent to the origin company movers which was acknowledged and I was informed would be forwarded to Cartwright. Upon receiving all of my items I was denied the flower pot claim because it was not packed. I included the email and photograph of the damaged flower pot in my claim. They also are also offering significantly less compensation for a “comparable” desk that is significantly smaller rather than offering us the replacement price for the same desk.

    After looking further into this complaint with our Claims Department, we were able to extend the coverage offered to this client and approve reimbursement for the flower pot and the desk as he requested. Please keep in mind that we are held to strict standards when it comes to reimbursing claims for military moves, and we are not the ones who determine the parameters. However, in this specific instance, we were able to make some adjustments and meet the customer's request (which is not typical due to those strict constraints). The service member has been emailed by our Claims Department with news of the updated reimbursement. We wish the customer no ill will and regret that these items were damaged by the movers, of course, as our goal is always excellent service and 100% satisfaction.
