I paid $3500 to this contractor as a down payment to remodel a master bathroom. I had asked the project manager to wait till the countertop fabrication was completed before starting his job. Unfortunately this contractor did not listen and put wall tile up and when it was time to put the countertop around the bathtub the tile got destroyed because the countertop granite was one piece and there wasn’t enough room with bringing it into the bathroom without hitting and destroying the wall tile. I asked the contractor to replace the wall tile because it was his fault for listening to me. He refused to be compliant and got angry with me and told me he was coming back. The contractor did not do any work other than putting wall tile up which got destroyed. He refused to give me my money back and never came back to do any work.

We did receive a down payment for **** ******** Bathroom remodel. We did the tile floor, the plumbing for the tub and electrical work including installing a heated floor system. We were told the tub top installer was coming out, we scheduled our next step, the tub top installer didn't show. I am told this happened numerous times. Finally the guys were told, by the top installer to go ahead with the tile. When the tub top installer finally arrived to do the install we are told it will not fit and the tile has to come off. Our contract clearly states, "we will not work around other contractors schedules" we tried multiple times to work with this installer and finally called it a breach in contract. There was much more than $3500.00 in work done, however with all of the rescheduling, lost work days and difficult communication we chose to enforce the breach in contract. In the 23 years we have been in business we have never been forced to do this, this was an unusual situation.
