      02/06/2024 i bought auto policy with this company for $185. For monthly payments of $114.50 per month. In March my car was stolen for the 2nd time and totaled. I made a claim with **** ***** who is adjuster for Traders Insurance. He sent me papers asking for maintenance records, bank information on how the payments were made, and finance records from dealership, this information explained my payments were on time, maintenance done every 3,000 miles, new tires, etc. He wanted my medical records, personal checking and savings, cell phone records, all my personal information. I refused. I felt this was going a little to far. I cooperated with their investigation, i also received a threatening letter stating i may lose my drivers license, and was also told I was lying by *** ***** over the phone about some litigation over ID theft, tampering with credit reports etc. Everything else i have had going on. Which is also none of his concern. I have medical issues and my son also, we are both disabled. My car was stolen by my daughter previously in December, I testified to this in court. I was insured with ******* Insurance and made a claim, neither company has paid the claims, I have been making payments on two cars since December. They have made a hardship on both my son and I. I have been interrogated by both companies and have been more than cooperative and so has my bank. I also have Gap Insurance. I have not heard anything from these companies except threats. Traders, *** *****, also put on my insurance records that I haven't fulfilled my obligation to their company. I have. It is now to the point I can no longer pay the note on the 2013 Chevrolet Equinox that was stolen. *** ***** told me I was responsible for the Equinox being covered at the salvage yard and weather damages, and costs for storage if any. I am disabled 66 years old woman with a disabled son to take care of. ******* told my attorneys they were paying a month ago. They have not.

      I am rejecting this response because: In my research I have found Traders Insurance is known for behaving this way toward consumers who do business with them. I'm not the only consumer that has had this experience. I suggest they be investigated by the Missouri Department of Commerce and Insurance.

      They have denied my claim for the Damages on my chain link fence, but ****** ***** ask for receipts from tge Fence I bought at *********** ****** here in Dodge City,Kansas I asked her I've got over 24 hours in Labor repairing my fence, they refuse to give me Labor as of the conversation I had last week with ****** ******  I said that isn't right.. ****** ***** was going to pass my concerns on to the next step. 

      I was Not told of the Driver not being a policy holder,  until this letter from Y'ALL. 
      I just want to be treated fairly,  I'm not looking to getting Rich off this Deal, but I just want Fairness!

      I have Traders Insurance since July. They provided full coverage on my 2021 Dodge Charger. They obviously run my driving record when applying for auto coverage. I paid them money, paid my premiums, then my car was stolen from my work parking lot. It is on the security video, a male breaking the back window and stealing the car within 7 minutes. After 40 days the Traders adjuster called and said they are rescinding my policy , not paying the $35,000 loan balance and will return the premiums that I have paid due to me not disclosing a conviction in 2018. I never filled out an application, just spoke with an agent on the phone. I told her like I tell all insurance agent. My driving record is not good. But I haven't had and incidents in years. Why did they issue my policy if they didn't check my background like all other insurance companies do. So it seems I have been driving around with no insurance because no matter what kind of claim I filed , they would not have covered it. This is breach of contract. I am seeking legal advice. I am not paying for car that some thief is driving around in Kenosha Wisconsin.

      Feb 24th 2023 my car was stolen. I was in the middle of an oil change and could not get the oil filter off but I had already drained the oil, I was waiting for my husband to come and help get the filter off. I work nights and was sleeping. When I woke up at 330pm my car was stolen. I filed a report with wichita PD they found my car 2 hours later a few miles from my house. I had to have my car toward and rekeyed. Once we did that the car would not turn on and it appears the motor has been blown I unfortunately do not have my receipts from all my car maintenance. And they will not continue my claim they initially did not ask for that information. I sent all of my car loan paperwork, payment history all of my call and message logs (which took me months to do due to my phone carrier and miscommunication, they kept sending the wrong information). My car drove before someone stole my car and now it does not I had full coverage insurance. I am just wanting to get my vehicle fixed.

      Trader Claim # ********** I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the handling of my recent car accident claim by Trader insurance and the insured driver, who provided false information to the police report. In addition, Trader representatives ***** ( *** *** ****) & ***** ***** ( *** ********) from Total loss department promised to pay for my car rental and storage fees but have since reneged on their commitment and stopped answering my calls. Till the writing of this letter, my SUV is impounded at *** ********** **** *** ****) till Trader pays off the outstanding balance. On Dec 4th. 2022 , I was involved in a car accident with your insured driver, who was at fault for the collision. When the police arrived at the scene, your insured driver provided false information about his insurance company, which made it extremely difficult for me to track down the necessary information to file a claim. After several weeks of hunting down his insurance information, I finally was able to file a claim for my car rental and storage fees with your company. *****, who was handling my claim, promised to cover all expenses and assured me that the process would be handled efficiently and professionally. However, I have since been severely let down by ***** and your company's handling of this matter. ***** has reneged on his commitment to cover my car rental and storage fees and has stopped answering my calls and responding to my emails. I demand that your company honor its obligation to cover my car rental and storage fees as outlined in my policy. I also urge you to investigate the false information provided by your insured driver to the police report and take appropriate action against him. Furthermore, I expect your company to address the unprofessional behavior of your representatives, ***** & *****, and provide me with a prompt and satisfactory resolution to this matter.

      Traders Insurance Company received your letter dated 12/09/2022 regarding *** ********** request for assistance. We are happy to respond to the request.
      *** ****** ******** started a policy with Traders through our independent broker, Genesis Auto Insurance LLC in ****** ******** on 12/08/2022. *** ******** applied a credit card payment in the premium amount of $121.00 which bound the policy for a **** ********* ********* **** **** *** ** with the following coverages: bodily injury liability, property damage liability, collision, other than collision, roadside assistance, towing reimbursement, and rental reimbursement. The total six-month policy premium was $646.00 (without policy or installment fees).
      On 12/08/2022 the quote was initiated at 4:11 PM and the quote included bodily injury liability, property damage liability, collision, and other than collision; the total premium was $596. Only 6 minutes later at 4:17 PM, a change was made to the quote to add towing reimbursement and rental reimbursement for a total premium of $633.00. Two minutes later at 4:19 PM, the roadside assistance coverage was added for a total premium of $675.00. Then at 4:31 PM, the discount for the automatic payment plan was applied when credit card information was added to the quote. The producer stated *** ******** requested these changes, however, he was not satisfied with the premium amount and that the state-required liability coverage could not be removed as he already had insurance with his employer.

      *** ******** signed a request to cancel the policy on and effective 12/09/2022, one day after the policy inception date of 12/08/2022. A policy services representative left a voicemail for *** ******** on 12/13/2022 requesting a call back to discuss an option to receive a full refund of $121.00, however, to this date, *** ******** has yet to return our call. On 12/22/2022, Traders Insurance will issue a refund in the form of a check in the amount of $105.00 which will be mailed to the address on file.

      We wish we could have accommodated *** ********’s request to only purchase physical damage coverage, however, for good reason, liability coverage is required. If *** ******** wishes to cancel his policy effective 12/08/2022, feel free to contact Traders Insurance’s Policy Services department directly.

      We understand *** ********** request for a full refund which is the reason for the voicemail we left him on 12/13/2022 to discuss a solution. It is important for *** ******** to understand that the down payment applied on 12/08/2022 at 4:32 PM bound the policy regardless of the insurance application being signed. Therefore, we would have needed a signed request to cancel the policy with an effective date of 12/08/2022, not 12/09/2022, for the system to issue a full refund.

      To this date *** ******** has not returned our phone call to update the effective date of the cancellation. It is important that *** ******** have other auto insurance on 12/08/2022 to receive a full refund, so we ran a report and verified he has auto insurance with another carrier on 12/08/2022. For this reason, we have elected to refund the premium in full. A refund check number ****** in the amount of $121.00 was mailed on 12/23/2022 to the address we have on file.

      I filed an accident claim with my insurance pertaining to a collision my car was involved in. My accident happened on 7/14/2022 claim was filed the next day, I was told I had to get approval for the rental which didn't happen until I threatened them with a phone call from my attorney, I hadn't been off the phone 10mins before someone was calling me saying my rental was approved, now at this time I'm 12 days without any way to work or anything. They sent someone out to look at the damages but all they done was took pictures all around my car, however the damage is underneath so no one know the exact damage. I was told i was being paid a check for damages that were already on my car. They refuse to get my car towed to a shop to actually see the damages under my car but yet they want me to settle which I'm not doing until my car is looked at the proper way. Traders Insurance is the insurance company that's doing this. I pay faithfully every month and all I want is my car fixed like I pay to every time I pay my insurance bill. Please Help Me!!       Thank you for notifying Traders of the above captioned complaint filed by ******** *********, on claim number **********. It appears this complaint stems from perceived claim delays.

      On July 15, 2022, Ms. ********* filed a loss stating her brakes failed causing her to lose control of the vehicle which resulted in her hitting a curb and driving through a yard.

      On July 18, 2022, Traders took a statement from Ms. ********* where she advised the damage to the vehicle was the front end, popped tires and likely damage to the suspension. Traders scheduled an inspection of the vehicle to determine the extent of the damages and help determine if any damages wouldn’t be covered under the policy due to mechanical breakdown prior to the loss.

      On July 26, 2022, Traders completed an initial review of the damages to expedite repairs and get Ms. *********’ vehicle into a shop where additional assessment of undercarriage damage could be completed on a lift.

      When Traders reviewed initial estimate with Ms. *********, she then stated that the front end damage to the vehicle was pre existing and the only damage from this accident was to the undercarriage. Ms. ********* refused to accept payment at this time.

      Traders then requested Ms. ******** to select a shop of choice where the vehicle could be inspected properly on a lift. Ms. ********** shop of choice stated there is a significant amount of wear and tear to the undercarriage of the vehicle. Traders has extended rental coverage to Ms. ******** while her vehicle was in the shop for repairs and during the damage review.

      Traders opted at that time to schedule another inspection at the shop of choice once the vehicle arrived. This inspection was completed on August 9, 2022. Due to several exigent factors, determining the damages associated to this loss has been delayed. Traders is working to expedite the damage review and completion of Ms. ********** claim.
