    I purchased three season tickets for the 2022 season for $246. The final show in the season was cancelled (without notice). No information about refunds was provided on the website. I was not contacted by any means (email, letter, phone, etc). I have left at least 3 messages on their voicemail and have not received a reply. I am out $60.

    I received notice from the Better Business Bureau of Kansas City regarding your complaint about not receiving notification of the cancellation of **** *******. I do sincerely apologize for us not reaching you. Although we tried our best to make sure everyone was contacted by email and phones calls, we obviously missed connecting with you. My records show that we tried calling in mid-July, however the notes for your call are noted “wrong number”. This is obviously an error on our part as I just left you a voicemail calling that number. We sent out an email to everyone on July 5th and I’ve copied that below so you can see the explanation for the cancellation.

     

    I’ll issue you a refund check today for your three tickets you had purchased for the show. If you need to reach me please don’t hesitate to use my direct lines listed below.

    Dear Patron,

     

    Quality Hill Playhouse has made the difficult decision to cancel our upcoming show, **** *******. While we are thrilled to be back creating live theatrical performances since the start of the COVID-19 Pandemic, our audience numbers, our actors health and safety and our ability to provide the Quality Hill Playhouse experience, that we have built our theater on, have all been limited by the ongoing impacts of the pandemic. We know this is very disappointing to our patrons, as it is to our staff at Quality Hill Playhouse.

    We are hopeful that by canceling the final performance in our 2022 Season, it will allow time to make valuable improvements to our facility, including our air conditioning and ventilation system. We are looking to the future and to coming back strong, beginning with Cocktails at the Q in early September followed by our 2022-2023 season.

    Cancellation of **** ******* allows you to choose one of the following options for your ticket cancellation:

    Taxable Donation to Quality Hill Playhouse
    Credit to your Account (in the form of a Gift Card that will never expire)
    Standard Ticket Refund
    We ask that you please respond directly to this email with your cancellation choice, so that we can process your request in a timely fashion.  You may also call us at ************ to discuss options.
