We spent two nights 3/17-3/18/23 at THE OUTPOST in ************ **. The structure was built in **** and we get it it's a old building. But let me tell you it smells like a horse stall. I would like to see a air quality test done or a mold test done. Also the ** has 4 nightly rentals and operates with just a 150-gallon hot water heater. The family that was staying next to ** ran out of hot water also and called the owners and were not pleased with those results. My wife washed her hair in the bathroom sink to conserve water. I had warm water once and a not so warm one time. Hot shower was not a option. There is a nice restaurant in the front of the building called the ***** ROOSTER and I did not notice a firewall between the cooking area and the lodging area, but I might have missed it. Rooms are down a long hallway with NO WINDOWS and only one entry door to get out of the building incase of fire. There was no battery backed up exit light above that door. At the end of the dead-end hallway there is a mechanical closet with a washer and dryer. There was no signage posted marking the small 2.5lb extinguisher that was there on the floor in a corner. Under State and Federal regulations this would call for a minimum 5lb. 2A 10BC mounted on the wall. I contacted the owners and was not satisfied with that outcome so that's why I contacted you. Feel free if you have any questions *******************
