EverReady carpet cleaning services was recommended by *********************** to come and clean our carpets upon move out. I called and scheduled the day for cleaning, which was supposed to be Tuesday, August 15, 2023. I never received a call from EverReady on Tuesday saying they were ever in the apartment at all. I called and left them a message and they returned my call and said they were not going to clean the carpets at all. So now because of the non-existent communication from EverReady, the carpets are not getting cleaned and *********************** has already told me they will be withholding our deposit because of it. If we were contacted the day they said they couldn't clean it, I would have gotten another company to come in and clean it. I feel as though they should still go in and clean it as they are the "professionals". The carpets are not in as bad of shape as they said they were.

The system is the apartment complex has the resident call us to clean the carpet when they move out. We give the resident a discounted rate of $75 which is a stipulation in their lease. When we went to that unit the carpet was extremely bad so the apartment complex was going to replace the carpet regardless. So we didn't collect the $75 from the resident because it would've been a waste of their money. Also the resident had to answer our call when we were on the way about the payment. We left her a message about us coming out but not cleaning the carpet because it was going to be replaced anyway. Even if we cleaned the carpet it still would've been replaced so she just would've been out of the $75. We believe it's untechnical to just take money to make money.

I am rejecting this response because:
Had EverReady ACTUALLY called me the day of service, I would have answered and then we would have gotten another company to come in and take care of the cleaning.

Attached you will find a screenshot of my call log.

I was home that day from work and was awaiting the call from EverReady. If they called and I missed it, they had an opportunity to leave a message and I would have called them right back. I called them a little after 5pm on Tuesday, August 15th, the day that they were supposed to clean the carpets. Obviously left a message and they called me back the next morning, Wednesday August 16th, the day of the walkthrough with the apartment, letting me know they didn't clean it. They made zero effort to contact me the day before when they were supposed to clean. No call, no messages.

It doesn't matter if they weren't going to clean the carpet, even though it was not in that bad of shape, when a home carpet cleaner can take out almost all of the stains, they made zero effort.

    Sincerely,
