I would like to file a complaint against a business and have BBB help me get a resolution to my problem.The business that I am filing a complaint against:Gavin **** RMS Ground Maintenance ****************************************************************** There is another location, but may have been added later. ********************************************************************** Phone: ************ Attached are emails that they have sent to me along with my response.The problem:Received email from company stating they had ***** and was $85.00 cubic yard.I needed some under my evergreen trees in back yard, so I responded to email and invited them to come out to my place to measure and see what I needed. (He never came out it is believed he just estimated). I have never received an itemized estimate showing measurements, amounts needed under the 6 trees.I decided to go with RMS as they indicated after I called in regard to the **** of ***** they had. I was not going to take it if they go to a town and get free trashy stuff and put down. He said they had dyed ***** *****. So I decided to try them. It was $85.00 per cu yd.There were 3 men who came with wheel barrels, parked truck full of ***** and loaded from street into wheel barrels. I waited until they were finished and went out to ask the workers a question. The one said "We put down 1 to 1 1/2 inches of *****." (Gavin **** later states in email that they do not go by depth but by circumference of area). Somebody not sure what is going on or how the company does their work. "The workers had no paperwork and I signed nothing."Later on, we checked depth and not even an inch no matter how they measure it (unknown area as not given to customer). There were areas where it was not even covered under trees. Roots shown, area missed not along border of landscaping lot. Left lots of pieces throughout the yard from front to back and never bothered to pick up. We had to pick up to clean up yard. Also, dropped a lot on street where they removed from truck bed onto wheel barrels. Their application was to use hands and just throw around area. Very unprofessional.We were very unhappy and called him on it. Email attached to show "Gavin ****," owner, the issue at hand. He did not handle this in any sort of appropriate manner. He just emailed me a negative notification which is attached.He has and had no intention of doing anything about it. So I am turning to you for help as I know you do the right thing.The problem is that I paid $212.50 for ***** and no way they would have known that I got the 2 1/2 cu. yd. as agreed to with Mr. ****. This may be a scam or in that category.I invited him to come and check it out and he made no intention of offering to check and feel we were cheated on the amount plus the cost. This company is and does not get a good accreditation rating for their work, services or management conduct.
