We purchased a mobile home from this company, everything went through smoothly and it was delivered November 1st. After all of the money cleared and the paperwork went through we have not heard from them since. We do not have skirting installed and when we call the manager ****** she gives us another number to call and when we call that number they know nothing about it. They charge just $1,400 to skirt our little trailer house. And it is not done with no plans of it being done in the future and there are 10 degree days coming up and I have a baby underneath a year old. We also do not have a central heat and air unit installed per contract and it is absolutely freezing even running three ************************************************************** our house now we have to have an electrician come out and fix the damage caused by running too much current just to survive this ice box. The trailer house is also not strapped down by any means and when I call they pretty much tell me it is what it is, they gave me the number of the guy that set up the trailer house and told me to call him and he will explain it to me and I called him and he said he don't know what to tell me lol. So our house also needs tied down. This has been a nightmare and I believe the more people that know about this nightmare the more people that will likely not get caught up in the scam. They literally super glued stuff back together for repairs but that's beside the point because we were able to inspect it prior to purchase and we did notice some of that prior to purchase. I hate happening to result to public slandering to get neglect resolved but we desperately need the s******* that we paid $1,400 for an essential heat unit installed per contract. It has been over two and a half months and all we could get is them telling us to call somebody else with nothing getting done. This will probably end up in court but it is not been filed yet. We are about to go move into a hotel on their dime.

********* & ************************* purchased a ************* Corp. owned manufactured home through my company, HWY 59 Discount Homes, LLC and Financed it through ************* Corp.

The home was delivered on 10/31/22. My manager ************************* and ****************** has many conversations since the home was delivered. Can be proven by text and call logs.

We have not installed the skirting due to the height of skirting requiring a frame to be installed per the contract. The buyer choose to install the framing and it is not complete to date or ready for skirting to be installed. Price of skirting charged to buyer on contract is the standard rate of $1050.00 (Buyer states we charged them $1,400, this is false)

Central Heat & Air-Furnace was installed by the manufactured of the home and delivered in the home. The A/C unit was installed at on Dec. 16, 2022. The buyers statement of not having heat is false. When the ** was installed, the technician noticed that the home was not properly wired with the correct size wiring. The buyer has a temporary line ran on top of the ground and is not sufficient to run any electrical components such as heat, air, appliances, hot water tank etc. buyer stated at one point they were waiting on the correct wiring and the power company. The buyer was advised not to use electrical systems until home was properly wired or it will void warranties if included. He is blaming us for not having heat and electrical problems that are his responsibility, per the contract.

The home was properly tied down and the installer has installed additional straps per the buyers request. Nothing is super-glued. The home is built to HUD specifications.

Buyer states that it has been over 2 & 1/2 months. Home was Delivered 10/31/22. We are completely Delivery and set per contract except for waiting on Buyers to do their part.

We will promptly complete our contract with buyer as quickly as they can have their part finished.

    Thank you,

    Customer Answer

    Date: 12/31/2022

    Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. The dates I specified are incorrect as I looked back as well through call logs and messages. Hwy 59 discount homes has the days spot on. I apologize for the confusion but it was setup on a day we all worked. Not the day scheduled. But still to this day my trailer sits on at least 3 broken cap blocks. This is not due to hwy 59 lack of trying either. They begged they guy to fix the minor mistake that's been holding everything up, the guy the set it on cracked blocks came to my door and told me F U it's your responsibility now and drove away like problem solved. Well I called the manager at 59 homes and she agreed it's not my responsibility. My point is I feel like this contractor that pulled the trailer(into a tree) is too incompetent to inspect a block, and deserves this report, not hwy 59 homes. Hwy 59 homes has done everything they can and our communication is improving to positive results. I was annoyed with a few nit picking things that I guess better communication on my part could have helped solve but it's hard to be calm and collected when that *** has an attitude from day 1 and decided the pad he inspected the day before was too narrow. Resulting in him coming the next day to finish when no one was home. We then both get calls at work instructing us to call the insurance company before the end of business hours and how it must be done that day. Neither of us had an opportunity to inspect the setup but we were shocked the next day when we seen his job in the daylight. I apologize for the incorrect dates, nothing was super glued. The bathroom drain leaked because it was sticky tacked but I scraped that off and had it siliconed quickly. I only went BBB because I wasn't getting communication from anyone. Now I understand what y'all are dealing with for a contractor and I wouldn't want to repeat his facetiousness either. All around unprofessional delivery setup guy. Highly not recommend him.

    Sincerely,
