****** of the day, you get what you pay for. Supreme Contracting was one of the most cost effective options we were given, as well as the quickest to be able to complete the job. It was winter 2020, both of our basement windows were leaking water into the house and come to find out, they were not "standard size" imagine that... Through no fault of our own (covid) the quickest we could get our hands on windows to install ourselves wouldn't be for another 2 months. That simply wouldn't work. We found Supreme, and they were more than willing to assist us. The estimator came to the house, he was extremely unprofessional, and barely took the time to measure the windows. We thought what the heck, its a good price and they can get it done quickly, so we proceeded. It came time to install, strike 1, I noticed the windows were not flanged, I had specifically asked that we get flanged windows to increase the structural rigidity of the install and decrease future issues. Strike 2, the installers, possibly a father son combo, showed up looking subpar to say the very least, without the proper tools, without the proper hardware, without the trim, without caulk, without trash bags. I contacted the owner of the company to notify him of the mess I was witnessing and was asked if I could take his contractor to ********** and haul the 10' piece of trim back to my house for him because he arrived in a **** corolla... As if that was not bad enough, while I was on a conference call the install was completed(very poorly) and they left without walking me through the work they did. Come to find out, the windows were not the right size, there are 1/2 - 3/4" gaps on 2 sides of each window. The interior drywall that they removed was replaced with scraps of the 10' EXTERIOR trim board I so generously hauled to my house during my lunch break. Strike 3, It has now been 1.5 years since the install. I've since fixed most of the issues with these windows and they're beginning to leak again...
