    I went inside Dairy Queen as printed on my receipt at 8:11 PM today February 3rd. I ordered a small shake (strawberry) which was $3. 99 and I ordered a small peanut butter sundae which should have been as stated on the sign inside of the store 50% off. I explained to the clerk that I didn't think the price was correct because it was happy hour, but she acted like she did not understand English that well, so she asked another young lady. She stated, “it is half off and it'll be taken off through the register”. Again, the total still seemed high, but I waited to look at my receipt and as I assumed…. when I looked at my receipt it displayed, I was charged $3.99 for a small sundae! Also, there was an older gentleman who looked like the manager standing there but offered no assistance or help! So, I stated again that this was not correct again and again the lady seemed to not understand English well, so she got another coworker. She stated, “oh it's nothing that I can do about it not ringing up half off”. Again, the man just stopped looked and then sat down and offered again no assistance…. this is price gouging! How many people are you guys doing this too? So instead of just sending you an e-mail that you're not gonna do anything about I have sent this same e-mail to the Better Business Bureau because this place needs to get looked at!!!!!!! You are taking advantage of people and price gouging in this climate. if you do not understand well and cannot help the customers then you do not need to be getting monetary gain from them either!!! It is not right to sit there and overcharge people consistently and then think that nothing should be done about it so since I don't think you're going to do anything about it I have forwarded this to the local TV station so they can drop by there also and placed the same order that I placed at the same time and see how they're charged I may even post this on social media because this is price gouging and this is stealing!

    We have received a letter stating a customer had sent in a complaint.

    Customer was contacted by email and their response was that they have accepted the apology and they had expressed their frustration in a previous email and the issues have been addressed. They then thanked the manager for reached out to them. This issue has been resolved.
    Let me know if there is anything needed to support this email.
