      I purchased this warranty on my 2020 ****** murano 06/01/2024, then another co called with a better price so I canceled, then I called back to make sure they hadn't till then, I called several times for my refund still haven't received, I just want my ****** back.

      July 31, 2024 I took my car in for a noise that I was hearing in my frontend of my vehicle and there was also the problem of my vehicle attempting to cut back when I was attempting to speed up. The estimate is attached. I purchased the auto protection plan at a platinum level and the company told me that they downgraded the coverage when the mileage reached ******* miles. That change took away the coverage that needed repair. I want to express that I paid for the entire amount of $5319 at the Platinum level and there should not be the opportunity to downgrade my policy and not pay for the service. My coverage is stated as concluding at ******* or 5-15-2026. Warranty on the car covered my vehicle for ****** miles If the coverage suspends at *******, then I have essentially paid $5319 for ****** miles, or a total of ****** miles. My car record at ********** Mercedes of ****** will reveal that I do all of the required services in a timely manner. Please help, I believe that I have been taken advantage. I thought this was a reputable company that I was dealing with and the cost as you can see was very expensive. I purchased the Platinum Plan so that my car would be taken care of, but in lieu, I have been taken advantage of. And I have been treated very rudely by the company representatives.

      In February 2024 I contacted Guardian Protection Group and asked about an extended warranty for my 2020 RAM pickup truck. I ask for the price and other info and sent them ****** using my debit card with the understanding I could get my money back within thirty days if I requested it. I found a different company a couple of days later that was better for the truck in terms of coverage. I called and requested my refund on 2-14-24. It is now 6-10-24 and still no refund. I have contacted them monthly since February and still no refund. Their contact number is ************.

      I want to cancel my contract with them since I filed a claim and they are now not honoring my claim. They told me the reason it was denied was for road conditions and wear and tear on the vehicle which are things that can't be controlled. They told me if I cancel I will only be refunded a certain percentage. They are not honoring the contract I signed. They refuse to tell me how much they will refund me.

      On 1/30/23 I saw a red light come on my car when I was driving home. On 1/31/23 the light was still on so I stopped in ***** **** I thought it was my washer because I had been using it a lot. ***** looked and told me it was my engine light and I needed to call the dealer. I called the dealer that I go to all the time and they said they did not have a opening until 2/20/23, so I asked them to give me a dealer closer to me and they did. I called them and they gave me a date for 2/2/23. I took my car in and waited I gave them all the info and my warranty card they called and said I needed to get information from the former dealer and send in that information which I did and they sent the information. The dealer gave me a copy of what was sent. I was informed that the Automotive Protection company would not pay for the repairs because of error in the mileage and I looked at the mileage and they had it as having been lower than it was and I checked my papers and they were right. I called the dealer back and told them and they checked and said it was a error and sent in the correct mileage and again they refused to okay the repairs saying that I had not had my car service like I was supposed. I drove my car from six months out the year and when I took it out of storage I always had it serviced. The warranty company asked me when I noticed the light and I told them on 1/30/23 and they told me I had been driving that car for over a thousand miles and the light was on I told them they were not telling the truth because my car was serviced in 11/22/23. I don’t drive that much plus the car was sitting for 2/1/2 weeks. All I wanted was my car fix. I was willing to pay my part for repairs but I was not going to pay for what I thought I was paying for help when it was needed . Can you help me I don’t want to have a car note? I’m too old.

      An extended warranty was purchased through Automotive Protection company for my 2018 Silverado **** truck. My claim was denied on October 31st by Auto Guard (which is another bad company). The reason given for denial of the claim was that my vehicle is considered commercial. In the warranty book the definition for commercial use does not fit my vehicle as it is not being used for any of those reasons defined in the definition. The weight of the vehicle puts it in the category of commercial although its a private vehicle. Autoguard is denying my claim because they said a box was not clicked on the application. Automotive Protection administrative staff refuse to speak to me concerning the application in helping me resolve this issue. I have spoken to ******* a few times and *****, as well as my husband seeking assistance with this matter and each company is blaming the other while my vehicle sits at the dealership not being repaired. When I spoke with **************** informed her that I wanted to cancel this warranty but the company continues to take my money and offers no help with resolving this issue for my claim. This is robbery from both ends with Automotive Protection and Autoguard. Automotive Protection is selling these warranties grabbing money without any concern with how it's impacting customers like myself who work hard for their dollars. They just keep taking the money and I'm tired of it! I just want the service I have been paying for with this warranty since 11/24/21 when I purchased the warranty. I should not have to fight to get my vehicle repaired under this warranty but I am. This fight is costing me time, undue stress and mental anguish as these companies pass the blame to each other while they continue to make big bucks off older people like myself. I just want my truck repaired as I have paid for this warranty to cover it. It's unfair and down right wrong that these companies are finding every little loop whole to deny my claim.

      10/3/21 In contact with a *** from Automotive Protection Group. I purchased the Platinum Plan with the agreement that I could cancel within 30 days with a full refund. I inquired if they are affiliated with our Dealer, ************************* and he said, yes that they take over when our warranty runs out. They deducted $204 down payment from my account. I contacted *************************, and they said we had purchased the extended warranty from them and they are not ,in any way, affiliated with this company. 10/18/22 sent email cancelling and called them on 10/18/21. Talked to ***** told him to cancel. He said he would **** file and no payments would be taken. 11/5/21 they took a pmt of $160.69 from my account. 11/12/21 Called ****. He stated I would not get refund, over 30 days. I told them that was their fault, NOT MINE., because it was supposed to be cancelled on 10/18/21. After a heated argument, he put me on hold, came back on the line, apologized and said I would get a full refund of $364.69. I received check for $179.49, which was no good. (No funds available) Called ****, said to take back to bank and they cashed. They still owe us a balance of $185.20 and have lied to me numerous times ,stating check has been mailed. Still have not received. Since that time, I've called **************** almost every week and talked to a ***** ************ and a **** and they all tell me that the check would go out that week on Friday, and I still have not received a check, the last time being on 4/6/22, **** said the check would be sent on 4/8/22. Still no check. I've tried to be decent about this, but I'm tired of being lied to.

      July 16 2021 i purchase a service contract, contract number CGC24515730 from carshield with a down payment of $495.00, 29 July 2021 i cancel that service contract within the specify limit for a full refund. carshield is stalling on refunding me.

      To Whom It May ******* (BBB): **************************** is an administrator of vehicle service contracts. We are paid a fee by third-party sellers to administer the service contracts. The sellers usually use the services of multiple administrators. We do not engage in any marketing directly to consumers of any type.  The consumer was sold by Automotive Protection. LLC, this information has been provided to the consumer on several occasions. The consumer will need to request a refund from the company that sold the policy.
