Date of transaction 5/20/23 Amount $1300.00 Landlord found through Furnished Finders Committed to providing me with a furnished loft for 1 month. Nature of dispute: furnished finders is a website for travel nurses to find furnished housing. This listing/landlord had a loft available for rent. The landlord asked me to send the money via Venmo as a means to hold the reservation. One day before I was going to travel from Texas to Missouri, the landlord said there was a plumbing issue, and I can no longer stay in the apartment, but that she would refund me the full amount. This 6/1 and it is now 6/6. Since that conversation, Ghita el moutaoukil has told me everyday that it will be handled that same day. Days have passed and it’s been the same story each day. I informed her that I would contact Venmo, furnished finders, and the BBB, which I have, and that I would contact local police which I will also be doing today. I am currently waiting on a response from furnishes finders. Venmo said that starting today, which is 6/6, they would begin an investigation to see about this fraudulent charge and inform me with the result within 5-7 business days.
