Once approved I called Maxx. He said that upon picking my car up I would be charged an additional 5% adding up $209.14 in addition to the quoted amount. Stating that ************** ask them to collect this amount before they release the car as a finance fee. I called ************** and spoke directly to the manager. I was told that the 5% isn't a finance fee. It's the "Merchant Fee," I was told not to sign agreeing to pay the additional 5% because they are to be paid by the Merchant. I called back and spoke with ***** the manager, he said that he refuses to pay Synchrony the merchant fees. He said that he always add the additional 5% to the customers bill and haven't had any problems. Christian Brothers are deceiving their customers by adding these additional charges and telling them that they are finance fees to be collected on behalf of **************. ***** waived the merchant fees, letting me know that if I use the ****************** Credit Card in the future there will be an additional 5% added to the bill.
