    On or around August 4th, 2022 Clear Images/ Throwing Shade Stl were to tint my front windshield, all 5 back windows & sunroof. I had to take my 2010 Ford Escape back as the window on the driver’ side-top 1/8 inch was left uncovered (not tinted). That was fixed. However, on the back window they didn’t cover the entire window & when they pulled the tint off to re-do it, the defrost “lines” came off with the tint. When they took the rear window off they broke the defroster “line”that was attached to the window. The windshield wiper fluid box that is attached to the hatch was broken (clip that holds in place was broken). The windshield motor box clips were also broken when he went to replace the rear window wiper. I’ve made approximately 3 trips up there, in which Harley has told me multiple different stories. In addition to this, he’s also promised multiple times that he would personally come to my home and repair it. I met with him on 12/13/22, however the back windshield still was not repaired AFTER he stated that he had the parts to fix it. There are multiple text messages stating he’s going to make it right, however, that has never happened. He then stated he would refund part of my money ($250) & I agreed that was fair. On April 12th, he stated “I’ll get a check out this week”. (reimbursement check). As of today, June 6th, 2023 I have never received that. It was even suggested to him to send the check certified mail for tracking purposed.

    I have tried every effort to try to resolve this issue with the customer.  I have done everything in my power to make them happy and I just can not make this customer happy.  The customer paid $300 dollars and I have spent $2000 to try to fix this issue.  There are some parts for this car that you can not even get new for this vehicle.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    Even though my Ford Escape is old, I should get it back in the way that it was taken in the shop for window/glass tinting.  My friend has been communicating with Harley via text in which he had agreed to reimburse me $250 (the cost of the tinting).  

    These text messages go back to December 13th, 2022 when this all started.  I’ve attached screen shots of a check that he said he was going to mail, but it was never received.  (He actually stated that he sent two) There are multiple text, however, way too many to include, but I’m willing to provide them all if need be. I’m also including a screen shot where he agrees to reimburse me the $250.  As it was stated to Harley, we want to be fair, but he/his business did damage to defroster, windshield “motor box”, etc.  

    I have also included an estimate that I received from **** ******** ****. I tried to include photos of the broken pieces, however, I’m unable to upload any additional documents.
