I purchased cab **** meat and on top of the package was beautiful. Too good to pass up. I took it home to make dinner and on the bottom of the package was very poor quality of meat. NOT AT ALL like what was on top. 2 totally different cuts of meat. Angry is not the word. Schnucks has cheated me a few other times with this type of practice but Im done with it. I have pictures and proof of purchase. I will be attempting to get a refund however Im sure it wont happen. I would advise customers to take the packaged meat to the butcher counter and have them open it and check it and rewrap it. This is WRONG. If I wanted the cheaper cut of meat I would have purchased it. There is a $2 per pound difference in the price. $5.99 vs. $7.99. Do better Schnucks. There is another family owned store in town just to remind you.Review from James P

Every single time I go to a Schnuchs Market I can't use my Rewards Card with them. The ckerk have one excusr after another after..... Today at their location located ***************************************** about8:**am the older woman working register #** LITERALLY claimed even though my Rewards Card barcode was visible on my phone I showed her it wasn't Schnucks fault her machine wouldn't accept my valid Reward Card so it was Mine. LITERALLY every single time I go to Schnucks this happens and I'm justifiably sick and G. D. tired and sick of it AND their IDIOT employees that are to stupid to figure out the problem being theirs not mine.. I was told I needed to update my phone number another earlier time which their website wouldn't allow me to do so I had to conract their corporate office to have it done. This morning the Rewards Card from Schnucks was linked to my Rewards Card account with them but the idiot, no IDIOT working the register was/is to stupid to figure out what to do.Review from Kim S

Feedback via ****** Maps I had an experience at Schnucks today are around noon. I received some very poor customer service in the process of getting a price adjusted. Initially, I was just going to write it off but after putting my groceries in the car, I felt it was important enough to take some extra time out of my day to provide my feedback even knowing there would be no upside of me I asked to talked to a store manage which the Service Desk employee indicated they would call. A short time, later, a security guard appeared and asked what the problem was. I said I just wanted to provide some customer feedback. Well, after a few minutes of unproductive banter, I left the store without being allowed to talk to the store.I worked in a customer service department for almost 35 years. My goal was always to EXCEED customer expectations. Another goal was to ALWAYS left the customer feeling better at the end of our engagement than they did before. And, thirdly, my goal was to ALWAYS leave the customer with the feeling that they wanted to come ******* is sad to see the state of Customer Service today. I know there are still a few exceptions out there but not enough. Schnucks can talk all they want about customer service but I am guessing nobody is listening. That is why I try never to shop there but I have some meds I pick up at this location and that is the only reason I ever stop in.Review from Lakiea S

I was at the deli counter waiting for service. The lady behind the counter, though she has been watching me and saw me walk up, never addressed me. She was white, her name, *****, the assistant deli manger. ***** began to make herself appear busy. After the first few minutes I ask for help. She said I need to pull a number thats how they know to help their customers. I looked around and said but Im the only person here? there was not another shopper in sight. She repeated I needed to pull a number. Im chuckled and pulled the number. ***** continued to make self look busy. She moved the little basket where you put your numbers in from one side to the other. I asked for a supervisor. She asked what did I need. I said service. She said she was the assistant and the manager she pointed across the room. Another gentleman appeared from the back. He was black. I asked if he could help me. As we walked away a white walked up and ***** immediately asked how could she help her. He said what I was feeling was common with *****. ****** got **** from across the room. As I started explaining, **** cut me off and was dismissive. He said I need the store manager to deal with stuff like this. He walked off. The store manager was white but she was more pleasant. I explained what happened and she apologize. she said she wanted to talk with the employee to see what happened. I told her I just explained what happened. She said she wanted to get her side. she wish me to have a better day. I was shocked she never asked my name or anything. I was upset and distraught. I was treated so dismissive as If I had done something wrong looking for service at a counter that offers service. I contacted the corporate office. when they called me back, they were very dismissive of the fact as well. I want Schnucks to understand its not ok to treat people like this. This culture should not be continued in todays time. We must be treated better in our own community.Review from Gary A

Schnucks ******* ** I have a concern over the auto checkouts. I called the customer service number, I hardly got my question out and was told if you dont like something at Schnucks. Dont shop there. ?? When I scan an item that is on sale, the screen does not show the sale price??? Why not?? Many times, I do not get the sale price. But, I cant tell??? Then when I am done it asks for my credit card.. But. The price shown is wrong!! How can you ask for a credit card showing the wrong dollar amount?? This doesnt seem legal to me! This is a computer why cant it show the real price?? This should be fixed! The store manager said he has no control?? I brought this up months ago also.EMail **************** said no plans to fix it???Review from Coleman B

About 9:30 am, I brought in bagged $12 in quarters, the same clerk said we don't give change. I told I was trying to pay for my gummies. I told her my bank is across the street. I just wanted to pay for them and get out of there. I was looking for another person to get help. I called the corporate office and told them I am there to buy and leave. I was trying to pay for it. I think she thought I was trying to pay for my items. If you don't take change, put a sign up because every Schnucks I go to has accepted change.Review from Karen S

The Columbia ******** location delivery service is a RIP OFF! They are Thieves! I was $27.87 overcharged! I also received my deli meat that was expired and rotten! I understand that there needs to be a service fee, a delivery charge and I gave a tip to the driver, but I am still missing $27.87 difference from what Schnucks took from my account compared to what was on the receipt and the total of the extra charges! They took that much more from my account for somebody's pocket. Do not use the delivery service, they will take extra money! this is a rip off and a scam!Review from Mo K

Nearly everything in a can or box we have bought / almost bought has been expired; half of sections in food isles, where we have to dig to find something not expired. We brought it to the attention of the checkout person, *******/******* and he was dismissive. We asked to bring it up with a manager to let them know and again it was dismissed- we provided a few boxes as examples and he put those in a bag to discard.Review from Patti V

I have been very disappointed with the bagging at any location I go in ******, ****** **** or ****** in the ******** area. I bring my 56 bags put them on the check out lane first they either proceed to try and put everything Ive bought into one or 2 bags when you can see a minimum of 4-5 are needed, my bananas always are at the bottom of the bag with eggs and can goods on top of them (if I forget to ask for them right away). Or the other thing that happens they set my bags aside and start using the plastic bags, I do not like to have to return those in the recycling at front of store therefore, the reason I use the reusable bags that I wash frequently. When I tell them I brought bags they just put the plastic bags inside the bags i brought. Either way I have to spend 10 min at my car repacking to ensure things wont get cracked are smashed. Groceries are not cheap and I when you are being paid to do a job it should not be a VERY POOR JOB every single time!I realize I could go somewhere else to purchase groceries were I can bag them myself or even go through the self checkout, however, I am not an employee and nor will I get a percentage off for checking & bagging my items myself thats why I go through the checkout lane with a cashier that is getting a salary.
