On April 28th, ************************************* a deposit for work to be done on our property. This included installing all new siding, soffit, fascia, gutters, and downspouts. On June 7th, 2025 GutterPros installed new siding, soffit, and fascia on the front of our house. On June 10th, 2025 GutterPros installed new gutters and downspouts to the front our house.- We expressed our concerns with GutterPros this same day about issues with the install of the gutters and downspouts. On June 16th, 2025 GutterPros came out to divert a downspout and damaged roof shingles in the process. On June 17th, 2025, we had a manager assigned to our project and issues. On June 24th, 2025 GutterPros were back at our property to attempt to fix the gutter hanging off our house and they removed the downspout on the right side of the house. On June 26th, 2025 GutterPros attempted to fix the gutter from hanging off the house and flatten roof shingles. On July 10th, 2025 we finally were able to meet in person with a manager and we were told by the manager "I am confident we can get the gutter fixed and the roof shingles flattened with the next fix".On July 18th, 2025 another crew claimed they were out to fix everything again, but nothing has changed. After each visit to our property, we expressed concerns about the work being done and that it was not satisfactory nor done properly/professionally. We have text messages to prove that GutterPros agrees that the work is, in fact, not satisfactory nor done correctly. Pictures available as well.Business Response

As was stated by the customer, ********************** and Exteriors was hired to replace the siding, soffit, facsia, and gutters on their home. The total project cost was $6,197.59. We were given 1/3 of the cost down. The remaining balance is $4097.59. I have spoke with *** ***** (the homeowner) today 8-4-2025. He has indicated that the only thing he is still concerned with is the integrity of his roof which according to our team is 9-10 years old. The dates the Mrs. ******* has mentioned were accurate for the most part however on July 18th we removed the existing gutter and remade a new gutter while also addressing the the raised shingles that Mr. ***** mentioned being his concern. On July 21 2025 we went back out to Mr. ******* house again to notch the Drip edge and raise the gutter to about flush with the roof line. From the pictures our crew sent the office the shingles no longer appear to raised. I told Mr. ***** that I would come to take a look and that I would refer a roofing company to reach out to him directly to speak with him about the shingle that was torn in the installation of the black drip edge. I am willing to work with the homeowner to reduce the total still due but we would not be willing to accept no additional payments as this was a total exterior restoration. The 1/3 down was just to cover the cost of materials. Mr. ***** did not seem to think he owed GutterPros and Exteriors anymore money as the "project took too long and there was various points of miscommunication". We are very interested in satisfying Mr. ***** and Mrs. ******* and we are very sorry about their experience on this project. We have been very busy with all of the hail and tornado work this year which has added delayed completion times.Customer Answer

We agreed to pay $3,197.00 for the final amount due. This was $900.00 off from the original amount due. We wrote a check on site to the owner of the company and requested a lien waiver within 24 hours. None of this was provided in the message by the business owner. The issue has been resolved, but we are awaiting the lien waiver to be received by 8/5/2025.

The consumer is correct. GutterPros,Inc. did reduce the balance due by $900.00. We did confirm that a lien waiver for both labor and material would be provided on August 19th. I spoke to GutterPros bank who suggested we wait ten business days before providing any lien waivers due to possibility of the consumers ability to stop payment on the check.
Please understand that GutterPros has gone above and beyond to satisfy Mr. ***** and Mrs. ******** By the time I was involved in this matter, the homeowners had already filed a complaint with the BBB and were also refusing to pay for services rendered. Originally I had offered to discount the total job by ****** which was the cost of the gutters. I made this determination due to the complaint about the gutters. Having never been to the property myself, all I had to go on was the job documents, communications between the GutterPros and homeowner, and before & after pictures. As I had indicated in my initial response to the BBB, I did meet the homeowner at his property to inspect the final product. Upon arrival, I did make several observations. The siding, the soffit, and facsia all looked great. So did the gutters. The original complaint came into the BBB on July 18. GutterPros was at the homeowners home during the day of July 18 where removed the gutter and raised the gutter. On July 21 we went back again to notch the drip edge and raise the gutter flush with the roofline. On August 4th I met the homeowners to inspect the work and to try to collect payment. I spent 35 minutes with the two of them. This is when they both admitted that everything looked great but they felt entitled to more than 14% off the total cost of the job ($****** discount I offered before arriving to the property) for the time it took to completely satisfy their expectations. Since they still didn't think they should have to pay anymore money and did not think 14% was enough to compensate them for their time, I suggested that they counter offer my ****** suggestion. The felt $3,000.00 was fair. I told them that was not reasonable so they suggested $1,000.00. That is when I suggested meeting in the middle at $900.00. They reluctantly agreed and Mrs. ******* wrote a check to GutterPros and I left. The bank was closed when I left their property so I made the deposit at 9:30 AM the next morning. I talked to the bank about the challenges of this job and that is when suggested I wait 10 business days from the time of deposit due to the possibility of the homeowner stopping payment on that check. In closing, there may have been some internal communication issues on side which may have prolonged the completion of this job which is why we offered the discount. We take our reputation very seriously and we (my team and I) have been in this industry for 23 years. We strive to satisfy every customer as is evident from the number trips we made out to the property. We continue to have safety and quality meetings every Friday morning and we will continue to apply what we learn from dissatisfied customers to our business model moving forward. Thank you.

They came out to do gutters and facia on 10/31. They left 2 boards unpainted and multiple scratches on the others. Have bare screws sticking out the back side and bare backing boards/blocks. The boards and blocks are unprimed, unpainted, and untreated. The minute the job was done they requested the rest of the payment I pointed out was left unfinished or half assed. They said they would be out to fix it and touch up the scratched facia boards replace the untreated and unpainted boards and fix the screws. Its been 2 weeks no call, email, text nothing and when I call them during business hours no answer ever. So definitely go with this company if you want to over pay and get subpar work.5/21/25 After these bad storms got on the roof to check things out, look for damage, etc. In all of the gutters was ***** screws that were unused in one gutter was a full tube of sealant that had made a massive glob next to a downspout blocking it. On top of that there is drip edge that is unattached or missing screws. There is drip edge curled up allowing water under the shingles causing rot. Ive had screws in my yard come out of the down spouts. Ive attached photos for proof. I have multiple pictures that will not upload once contacted I can provide more.Business Response

Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the business' response regarding complaint ID ******** and am satisfied with this resolution. I informed **** on concerns with the rework. How there was debris and screws left behind again. No way to correct that other than to do a final walkthrough once job is complete with a magnet stick or something similar. Will change the star rating from 1 to 3 due to issues I was clear about.
Sincerely,
