      ZERO STARS!!!!!!!!!!! SSM NEEDS TO BE PUT IN CHECK! SSM IS A NIGHTMARE TO DEAL WITH! THEY HAVE VERY SHADY BILLING PRACTICES WHICH I WILL BE HIRING A LAWYER FOR, WE WILL SEE THEM TRY TO STONEWALL ME THEN! THEY HAVE REPEATEDLY REFUSED TO ADJUST MY BILLS TO 50% OFF AND TURNED THE WRONG AMOUNT INTO COLLECTIONS!!!!!! DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE!!!!!!! GO ELSEWHERE EVEN IF YOUR LIFE DEPENDS ON IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      In June I went to SSM health. I was to receive two services which I prepaid for. When went in for my appointments I only needed one of the services. Since I prepaid for the service I needed to call a number to get my refund. I did this the same day. They told me it would take several weeks to issue a refund. Several weeks go by and I have not received my refund so I called. They said it would get resolved shortly. I had a small outstanding bill from a previous appointment and I told them I would not be paying it until my money was returned. She said that was fine and it would be escalated. We had a back and forth for several months about my refund. I get a letter in the mail that I had been sent to collections for my previous visit. I called them again and they finally tell me they have no record of me paying for both visits and I would need to send them proof. How all of a sudden they have no record of me not pre paying for the appointments?! They owe me money and they had the audacity to sent me to collections!? Now this is going to be reflected on my credit score cus they do not have their stuff together? And guess what I still dont have MY money! Ive never been treated so horribly in my entire life by a company!

      This healthcare provider is the worst! 4 -6 month wait times for a doctor appointment unless you want to pay the same amount to see a nurse or a Physician Assistant - if you're lucky and they don't just say the doctor's appointment schedule is completely full and future available schedule has not been posted yet. Now they basically only take credit card payments and the online billing is very mysterious and difficult to identify what the charge is for. I've had enough. I'm leaving!

      Dr ***** at the SSM Health in ****** has neglected to send in the paperwork necessary for my husbands FMLA and short term disability. We have been told twice that the paperwork was lost. We are now being told that the only way they will complete the paperwork is if we bring in ***** cash.

      This is a mess, been dealing with my situation with *** for over a year now, my insurance company dont wanna pay because *** didnt explain that I had skin cancer, my insurance company thinks it was cosmetic, so they wont pay, getting SsM to explain it to them, has been a nightmare, I hope I never have to do business with these people again

      Terrible. I was sent there by my ************ *** for an Eye Emergency. After the signed me in & billed my Ins. I was told we don't handle Eye Emergencies, find an Optometrist.

      I was taken to this hospital against my will, injected with an unknown substance against my will, and woke up in a room with different clothes on, all cuz I ****** off a cop. Now they've sent me a bill for 4000 dollars. Four Thousand dollars. I need to get out of this country.

      Billing is ridiculous. I was billed for an annual exam that was covered ************************************************ bills for this, I called and each time they blamed it on my insurance, my insurance stated ssm didn't code it right, then ssm told me to get them the right codes and we're very rude. So my insurance called them and then ssm said I owed nothing. 30 days later I would get another bill. This happened for over a year ! Always getting my my Insurance on the phone then ssm would say I owed nothing then another bill. They are a complete joke! It's been 13 months I have fought this and now it's time for another annual exam for my child which I took him too and they billed another 985! . They lie about coding ,.say things are surgery when they aren't etc, and you can't speak to anyone in a local office, it's all 855 numbers , going to call centers. If you're searching for a clinic/ hospital who steals from you and lies about coding then sign up with ssm!

      I had to go to the ** on May 2nd around 9:00 p.m. . The triage nurse treated me horribly! Accuse me of faking a seizure. When in fact I was having muscle spasms from dehydration! I also heard this nurse talking badly about another patient with another nurse! The other nurse was a blonde around 30 to 40 years old. But the tree auctioners was around 25 to 35 years old like I said she was wearing a headband that night. I'm sure you can look up who was doing three yards at night! The guy was respectful and nice that was helping in triage but the girl was awful! I'm pretty sure that's a HIPAA violation. Please either have these nurses take extra days off because of burnout. Makes them go through some more modules of how to be a bedside nurse! Please this is awful Please this is awful

      They will send you to credit collection services. I visited ********************************************************************************* (SSM Health neurosciences Dr. ******** on September 8'2023. The receptionist took a copy of my health insurance card and I had written down my home address on my patient form. On March 14'2024, I received a voicemail from a credit collection service about SSM bill. I called SSM billing agency also on March 14'2024 and provided the customer service/** with my ********************** insurance card. ** then mentioned that SSM health had sent a couple of bills to the wrong address (not to the correct home address I provided receptionist on September 8'2023), he also mentioned that SSM health didn't have any record of my health insurance even-though the receptionist took a copy of it during my visit. He promised to process the bill ($363) to the health insurance and that my name will be taken out of the credit collection services. The ** also promised that he would send me a copy of the bill that would have gone to health insurance to my email address but I never received it. On 4/5/2024, I received a credit collection services bill and I called SSM bill again on 4/5/2024 then I spoke with ******, she said she would escalate the processing of my bill to my health insurance and it should be processed by latest 4/9/2024. As per 4/18/2024, my health insurance still hasn't received any claim from SSM health and my account is still with credit collection services. If you like peace of mind, you should not consider them as your health provider.
