On 12/9/22 this company providing moving services, and I'm missing 1 box that included food, and 1 box that included pans as well as other important personal items. I was not allowed to be in the apartment while the movers were moving my things, because the senior living facility said I would be in the way. Therefore I do not know who the movers were. Both boxes that are missing were marked. A few days later I contacted the apartment complex and was told the issue was not their responsibility. I also contacted the moving company and they said it was the apartment's fault. Also, it took the moving company 2 weeks to find and deliver my mirrored dresser and pictures. I'm hoping they can find the box with pans and personal items.Business response

Per our conversations, again we are sorry you can not locate the two boxes, The manager at the facility was in control of the operation. She made sure that all the units were packed up and moved to the new locations. I have spoken to her many times about your two boxes and she indicated she would do what she could. She also stated that the other fourteen units had everything and did not have your two boxes.
They may be in your storage unit, you would have to get someone to help you pull out your storage unit and look through it. The trucks were checked and cleaned after each unit and nothing was left on the truck.

I hired these guys to move my possessions in June. My items have been in storage since then. I had them move everything to the new place October first. A lot of my furniture did not make it to me. I have called and spoke with the owner, and nobody has any idea what happened to my stuff. I want a refund of some of my money I paid because I had to go out and buy new furniture.Business response

In the moving business when a customer is coming to storage the company will always make an inventory of what they are taking to storage. On July 21st, 2021 this was done for Ms. ******.The driver took the inventory sheets and the roll of inventory numbers like we do for every typical storage job like we have been doing for almost 30 years.What we did not know was this was not going to be a typical move.When I spoke to Ms. ****** on July 20, 2021 at 0830 in the am, it seemed as she may of been drinking? She explained to me that she hired Two Men & a Truck to pack and move them, however, they were not able to come back and finish the job.We agreed to finish the job that Two Men declined.July 21, 2021, we called Ms. ****** to let her know we had loaded some packing materials and the crew was headed her way. Again, she sounded like she was struggling this morning and stated she would meet the crew there.The crew arrived and she was not there, they called and she said she was on the way.They waited, & waited, and waited. They called several more times, the office called several more times, she said she's on the way. After, waiting for over an hour, she instructed the crew via the phone on what she wanted them to finish packing and what to load to go to storage. She said to leave the REST, AND HER SON WILL TAKE. She state the apartment was unlocked and they could go in to get started. Once in the unit, they could see why Two Men & a Truck could not come back.The driver called several more times with questions and to see when she was going to get to the apartment. The last time the driver spoke with Ms. ******, about 1 pm, she had forgotten his name. She had spoken to our driver about 6 times before this call.At the end of the day about 6 pm, they waited a little longer Ms. ****** never showed and they left. The next day we unloaded into storage and tried to get ahold of Ms. ******.A few days later she called and her daughter got on the phone to speak with us. She said she would come by to sign and pay the bill later that day about 3 pm. She never showed.She called the next day and came by the following day and signed and paid. She said her mom could not make it.When we returned the items we picked up for her she send about 90% back with the movers for disposal. I have provided some pictures of what they brought back.Ms. ****** requested we go back and move the items she had stored out of the garage and there were a couple of small things in the unit to get. A couple of boxes. The garage was locked, however, the apartment doors were wide open, the front door and the sliding door to the deck, just wide open.There were a couple of small boxes there but everything else was gone the unit was empty. This was August 5th, 2021 when we returned.What happened to the unit after we left on July 21st, 2021is Ms. ******'s responsibility.We have the inventory list of what we were to pick up and return, she never showed on move day.Sincerely,******* *****
