      On October 15, 2022 I ordered carpeting from a company (Edwards) I trusted from previous carpet purchase at our prior home. Our new home needed all carpet replaced which meant close to ***** square feet of carpet was replaced on the main floor. The installers put one piece of carpet with the grain going one way and the remaining family room and hallway going the opposite. This seam all the way across our family room is now coming apart. We have carpet from our dining room, living room, and family room leading to a marble hallway that is a trip hazard. I called Edwards explaining our problems and was told they would call me back the next workday, no one called and I started calling again and researching why I could not talk to anyone. Then I found out they had gone out of business. I put a lot of money into this purchase and cant believe they went out of business with no notice. They had to know when I bought the carpet they were going out of business. I received no lien waiver for the carpet or installation. It makes me sick that I trusted a company I previously purchased carpet from.
