    My husband and I went in for eye exams on June 14th. We have separate eye insurance from each other. In both cases, this company charged me and my husband for the exam and they shouldn't have; they charged us each $52.00 saying that we would be reimbursed. Then they charged the insurance company, $235.00 for the same thing. Neither of us have received a refund; it was supposed to go to my credit card. I haven't seen a refund post there. He hasn't received a refund either from the practice. We shouldn't have been charged anything, not even a co-pay because that is what my policy shows.

    The business had great reviews online. I told them that I needed new single vision lenses for distance at my appointment. I took my old prescription for them to see. I also requested a pair of computer glasses. When I picked my glasses up, the computer glasses were good. I was told that the other pair were progressive lenses. I put them on and started having vertigo. I told them that I did not ask for progressive and was not told they would be progressive lenses. I was told that the doctor wanted me to wear them and that was what I should have. I did not ever receive a receipt or a copy of my prescription. I took them home. I could not wear the glasses. I have inner ear issues and vertigo. I took the glasses back to the store the following Monday. I told them that I wanted single vision glasses for distance like I always have worn. Told them that I got the computer glasses for work. Later in the week I received a phone call to pick them up and start wearing them. I told them they made me physically ill and I wanted single vision lenses for distance and that I would pay extra if I had to. He said doctor would not be happy but he would see what they could do. Received a phone call in about 10 days to pick up new glasses. I asked what they did to them and was told the lenses were remade. I put them on and could not see distance. When I turned my head everything moved like a wave. I told him something was very wrong. He said it was because of the new prescription and bigger frames. There was an excuse for everything. He said doctor wants you to wear these and don't put you old glasses back on. Still could not wear the glasses. I took them to a different business and told them what was happening. They were not single vision lenses. Both sets of lenses were progressives lenses. I was told that with my vertigo issue and the work that I do, that I should not have progressive lenses. I was lied to twice.
