    Before August 8, 2024, my backyard lawn had grass growing consistently, even with the extreme temperatures. Fortunately, I do have an in ground sprinkler system and have been watering every few days between ***** minutes in the backyard zone area.On August 8, a representative from Green Envy, sprayed the backyard area in one of their routine maintenance visits. My grass was in excellent shape before this visit, and again, even with the extreme temperatures we have been experiencing.Shortly thereafter, I noticed that I was losing my grass excessively in my backyard. I have attached photos of said area in this complaint.I contacted Green Envy and asked that someone come to my home immediately to view the area. I have NOT heard from anyone.I have been doing business with this company for 3 years and expect resolution to this issue.

    **************** called our office on August 21, 2024, regarding excessively losing grass in the backyard. Our assistant production manager reached out within two days of the initial phone call. He left a voicemail for **************** and set up a service call for a technician to advise on the condition of the lawn that is scheduled for August 27th,2024. We do apologize for it not being faster, but we are only in each area for a certain amount of time each week. A service call is typically done within three business days of the request. Our company appreciates *** being a customer, and we hope that there is resolution with his lawn.

    I was fully aware of the policy that auto renews every year. I told them to turn that off immediately when I signed up for the service. They claim that no call was made to turn off the service. I was automatically charged and I would like my money back.

    ******************************* will be issued a full refund of $72 to his **** card on file for the April 18th nuisance pest control application. Our service does renew year to year and that is stated on each invoice. ************************** account did not state that he did not want service renewed for his nuisance pest control program for the 2024 season. The **** card on file was automatically charged due to him being on Ez pay which is automatic billing. The **** card was charged due to him agreeing for it to be charged twenty-four hours after completed applications. I do apologize that it was not immediately put on do not renew for this 2024 season.

    Last year, I contracted with them to treat my yard. I was not pleased with the service. I wrote a note on the statement saying unless I see a change in my lawn, I will not renew your service. Early this year around Feb. 21st, I look out my window and saw a truck from Green Envy, ran outside and told him I did not contract with you this year. So he left. Yesterday they treated my yard and they sent me a bill for this service, I contacted them and they said they just roll over the service and billing automatically. I did not get their service for this year. I will gladly pay them for the previous billing but no more. I would like for them to send me a proper bill and I don&#**;t want their services.

    We have provided a credit for the lawn application that was completed on March 25, 2024. ************************** will not owe for the March application, but will still owe $57 for the first application done on February 21, 2024. Our company has mailed out a statement stating that only $57 is due. The service continues year to year otherwise ******** otherwise that a customer wants to discontinue service. ******************* account was closed on March 25th after she called our office about no longer wanting service. We explained how unless Mrs. ******** unless stating that she no longer wants service that it does continue year to year. We have no records that she no longer wanted service after the February application. We appreciated her being a customer with our lawn company and valued her business.

    We had used green envy in the fall for an aeration and services related to that. We never signed up for a reoccurring service. We got a bill this spring for them coming out. They never called, never contacted us, never asked us if we wanted them to. They came out and they didn’t even complete the service as our dogs were in the backyard. We never wanted them to come, never asked them to come, and never was informed they would be coming. Had they contacted us, we would have informed them that we did not want them. They left a bill on the door. I called and spoke to a lady and told her we did not want the service, never asked for it, and did not want to pay for it. She said it would be taken care of. 2 months later we get another bill. I have called since then and have left 3 messages to which no one will return my call. Then we get a letter from a collection company. We did not sign up for this, we did not fill out anything saying we wanted this. I want the collection stopped and proof they have stopped collection.

    On 9/9/2022 customer set for two visits of fertilization & weed control (as necessary or needed) and a core aeration with seeding. At that time it was confirmed to do seven visits of fertilization & weed control (as necessary or needed) and a core aeration with seeding for 2023. Also, at time of initial sign up for services customer was verbally let known that the “service was continuous from year to year unless notified otherwise”. The letter mailed to them the follow day showed the agreed services and a reminder that “service was continuous from year to year unless notified otherwise”. Furthermore, all invoices left at the door or mailed to customer state “service is continuous from year to year unless notified otherwise”. There is no signed contract - verbal only.
    On 2/16 /2023 we performed a fertilization at the property. On 2/20/2023 at 1:48pm **** ***** called our office claimed that she was was told by her husband to cancel the service. said they only wanted core aeration with seeding last year, not even the lawn visits.
    On 3/10/2023 our office emailed a statement to the email on file. No response from customer On 4/24/2023 our office mailed a statement to the address on file. No response from customer. On 5/4/23 our office emailed the customer again. No response from customer. On 5/8/2023 our office called the customer using the phone number on file and left a message to call and resolve the open balance. No response from customer.  On 5/17 our office called the customer using the phone number on file and left a message to call and resolve the open balance. No response from customer. On 5/19/23 customer was sent to collections.
    We feel we have done our due diligence, However, we have cancelled all collection efforts and wrote off the outstanding balance to end this dispute.

    I paid this company to service my lawn this year. I wanted them to get rid of the weeds. I had them to come out and aerate my yard to grow grass. I am dissatisfied with both services. I contacted them about it and they told me it was time of the year to get weeds. When the weather was nice, I was complaining about the weeds. They were spraying the weeds and they were still coming back. I still have bare spots from the aeration.

    I have tried reaching out to the customer and leaving a response but have not heard back from him.  We are willing to forgive the $292.50 that he owes us and close his account.
