Had my car towed to honest automotive in 2020 car was still having issues after having new heads put on, the owner ******** stated he would diagnose the issue and let me know. I called since I hadn't heard from and he hadn't got to it so after my car set there for weeks called and he said that he thought my block was cracked but hadn't ran a compression test on it. So I asked if he could install a new engine, he stated that he could then showed me his car and was telling me a LS1 engine would be the better route but would be more expensive. I informed him that I wasn't interested in a LS1 that I wanted to keep it a LT1 that I would purchase the engine what would it cost for the install? He gave me a good quote said it would be two to the weeks before he could get to it which was ok at the time so I purchased a engine delivered it to him the engine had the heads already on it so they were ready to go. After delivery of the engine he said he would have it in the shop with in the week so I immediately went to **** in ********* since that's who he gets parts from and ordered all the fluids he would need antifreeze oil brake fluid freon. Then I got new spark plugs, spark plug wires So fast forwarding months later I get my car back from him. He lets me leave the shop with it telling me that it might need a heater core because it's overheating but it's not excessively overheating so I asked him if it could be bypassed since it was a warm season at that point and I didn't need the heater to work until I got a new heater core to get it put in. He said yes and he bypassed heater core. I left the shop went straight to my work it was more than just a little overheating. So long story he forgot to put the drive on the water pump. The system was never circulating water at all. When I told him about this he said that no it comes on the block. I said no. I went down there pulled it off of my old block in front of him, he said if it's messed up then it was on him.
