    My husband ****** and I lived in this Senior facility. We had a **** and **** apartment. We paid for the living arrangements at the first of the month. We paid $6334.00 for the two of us. During the month of April, ****** lived there only five days, from April 1 - 5th when he fell and had to be taken to a skilled nursing facility. At that point I called the office and asked them for the pro rated amount. They gave me the run around. I called four times. I put a stop payment on the check. On April 22 they called me into the office and told me they were charging me the full amount plus an additional $50 because of the late payment. ****** died on 4/15. I just paid the full price because I wanted to get out of there. They should have given me a pro-rated amount--he was only there for five days.

    I was called today by the business and they told me that I should receive a check within 30 days.  I am going to say this is resolved in anticipation of receiving this complaint.
