My brought my truck into this repair shop on or about Jan 22 for an oil leak and was quoted roughly 600$. I also requested a full diagnostic as to know the over all health of my vehicle. I was told the truck was good shape, no check engine lights, no issues aside from the oil leak, in addition he had found a couple more leaks. I " ok'ed" the repair of the additional oil leaks, ****** change, and a transmission service for roughly 3200$. I get a call that the truck is fixed and ready for pickup. Before I can get out the drive way from picking up my truck I get a check engine light with a code of p132a. I immediately called the mechanic and let him know what was going on. He said it would be warranty work and he would get it straightened out. Roughly 5 weeks go by and I've bring given the run around about the wrong parts coming in, issues diagnosing the problem, ect... I needed a few things from my truck so I go over to grab them and see 1400 additional miles on my truck as well as his childs car seat buckled in the back seat, my truck was being used as his personal vehicle while i was being told its waiting for parts... I call the police to get assistance in retrieving my vehicle the next day. But before that can happen I get a text saying my truck is fixed and ready for pick up. I show up and I have numerous new check engine lights, exhuast errors on my truck, physical damage as well as just over 1500 miles put on my truck since he had possession. The cops helped me retrieve my vehicle but I am out 3800$ for things that were not fixed ( i have proof) as well as new issues that were not previously there as i was told the truck was in good shape. I am a 100% disabled retired veteran, I have given an entire months pay to this mechanic just to have my vehicle abused and more issues created. I need help please. I have the pictures, receipts for said works and prices. Please call me for any additional information or inquiries. Thank you
